Some NPC outfit's aren't being affected by Bodyslide morphs

Download the ESP Version of CBBE, not ESL

also what mod is the WGT.esp, i dont recongize it

also i dont Recognize this mod: RR.IM.Hotfix <-- i had a look for it and the only mod that comes up with that is a Clothing mod for the UNP Body, if that is the case, that would explain why you are having issues with them (UNP mods will not work on CBBE).

however the RR mods are for Oldrim Only, and are only for UNP so that in itself will cause issue in Skyrim SE, and especially for CBBE SE

OK, now I'm REALLY confused....I just completely wiped Skyrim and went with a fresh install, deleted the game folder, and ONLY installed Bodyslide and CBBE, and applied my custom preset.....Keerava STILL is using what appears to be a basic/vanilla morph. How is that even possible??

Edit: So just to triple check, I went in and created a morph with crazy proportions, to make any differences super obvious.....basically I just made balloon tits on the body, and when I boot up the game,...Keerava ends up getting a chest that's only *slightly* larger. So it seems like she IS being affected by my edits, but it's WAY more muted/toned down than what I set for the sliders, and since my actual, usable edits are only slightly tweaked from the base, that's why it looked like there was no effect before.

But I don't even freaking know how this could happen, I've never heard of an NPC in a Bethesda game only being partially affected by Bodyslide edits.

the only thing that would make sense, is if the Outfits your are bodysliding only includes _1.nif

NPCs use the 0 or 50 weight slider, which means they will not be affected by any mesh that uses the _1.nif

each outfit has 2 nif files, 1 of which will be _0.nif which applies to body weight that is anything from 0% to 50%

the second nif file will be _1.nif this is for bodyweight over 50% to 100%

if the npc are not altered in your game, then they will very likely be using 50% bodyweight or less. meaning the outfits you are bodysliding must be using the _0.nif not the _1.nif

Examples:

SteelCuirass_0.nif (this cuirass will only fit bodies that use 0 - 50% weight

SteelCuirass_1.nif (this cuirass will only fit bodies that use 51% - 100% weight (in other words almost exclusively used on female or male with maximum body weight, that means the weight slider in racemenu is maxed, or the actor has their weight maxed)

Note: Bodyweight is literally the weight slider in racemenu in game, and also a text input for each actor in the creation kit.

Note: the default weight slider for actors is 0% - so any actor's weight bethesda did not change specifically will be using 0% - meaning they will exclusively need to use the _0.nif files as the majority of actors in game use the 0% weight.

so thats the solution to outfits and will also apply to bodies themselves.

so the key question is, are you using Mod Organizer ? i ask because bodyslide does not work to well on virtual drives, of which mod organzier uses, in other words bodyslide will only apply to skyrim;s own data folder.

however what is confusing is you mention bodyslide works on your own character which would imply you are not using Mod Organizer.

so that then means again, keerava is not using the Femalebody.nif file, which is what all females use, including the PC (your female character) and is also the mesh file, that bodyslide modifies based on user preference, CBBE Body, CBBE Physics body, etc etc all use and modify the Femalebody.nif file.

I use Vortex.

Your explanation still doesn't really answer the problem though...I could see if I were using a modded outfit or an NPC overhaul, but this is a vanilla NPC in a vanilla outfit...how/why would Keerava be using the wrong .nif files on a completely clean installation?

i have no idea, i can only give reasons why it would happen based on general knowledge. without knowing what you are doing, i can only assume, and thus write what i have been writing, so in order for much better response, i need you to walk me through what you are actually doing. from the very basics, so i can see if their is step you have missed or done wrong.

so in your next reply, write exactly what you are doing, in as much detail as possible, then i will have a much better picture, and likewise will be able to potentially offer much better assistance, as it works both ways, the more details given, the more likely you will get pinpoint solutions.

the issue is, using bodyslide and getting it to apply to the character as well as npc's is very simple, so the fact it is not working for you is confusing. which can mean, you have missed a step somewhere, your bodyslide is not setup properly, or a mod is causing problems, or their is some type of security preventing files from being modified, etc etc, many potential causes.

Well, like I said, at this point I went with a complete wipe and reinstall of the game itself, so there's not much to explain....I reinstalled the game, reinstalled Bodyslide, which is a simple drag and drop of files into the game folder and then dropped my backups of presets into the Bodyslide folder, and then installed CBBE via Vortex, then batch built the morph to outfits in Bodyslide

then the issue could very well be Vortex it self, so check your Skyrim Data Folder, and see if any mod is in their, as i know Vortex is also made by the Same Guy that made Mod Organizer so i dont know if Vortex also uses a Virtual Drive. if it does then that will be the reason, if it does not, then you are going to need to check every single 1 of your mods, and see if any of them modify Keerava

so download SSEedit, open every mod, then start clicking on the little plus sign next to each mod, look for Non Playable Character Record Entry, click on the Plus sign on this record entry, then locate Keerava.

report back here, every mod that modifies her, then i will investigate further.

Note: For the record i have never even touched Vortex at all, and do not know much about it, i Use NMM, Wrye Bash and Manual.

Judging from a lot of topics i have seen on Vortex, it seems Vortex does not work with Every Mod, CBBE Could easily be 1 of them.

....but if it's a clean game install, with the entirety of the Skyrim SE folder having been manually deleted before reinstalling, and NO other mods besides CBBE have been installed on the game, wouldn't all of that be a moot point? This is literally my Data folder right now: https://puu.sh/D10D9/8ec84de8a2.png
