Constantly crashing when starting a new game with a fresh install

i know why it is crashing.

You need to Disable Rigmor.esp, Until Immersive Armors has Finished Injecting its armors into the Leveled Lists

i should of checked your load order, but anyway i have just checked it, and i remember this issue from oldrim as well

so yea, the solution:

On a New Game, Disable Rigmor.esp, wait for Immersive Armors to finish what it is doing (as indicated by Immersive Armors has Finished, along those lines) then Re-enable Rigmor.esp, and you will be golden, No More Crashing

this is what i do: Disable Rigmor.esp - click on New game - Create Character - Sit Idle, Until Immersive Armors has finished injecting its armors into the Levedled Lists - Close The Game - Re-enable Rigmor.esp - then proceed to Choose an Alternate Start, and begin. this will ensure their is no CTD.

Warning!: Do Not Click on Immersive Armors in MCM When Rigmor.esp is Enabled, as doing so will then force it to inject into the leveled lists again, which will cause the game to CTD Everytime, until Rigmor.esp is yet again Disabled.

its a conflict with both mods, however this conflict is only applicable when Immersive Armors is Injecting into the Leveled Lists, aside from that both mods will work perfectly fine togheter. i have run both mods toghether for a long time, and have had no issue with them aside from the issue mentioned above, which is easily solved via the method i have mentioned.

it dawned on me, when you mentioned the game would crash after 2 minutes every time at the beginning of a new game, back in oldrim days (4 Years ago) i had this same issue, and done the whole disable 5 mods at a time. until i came to the conclusion that their was a small conflict with immersive armors and rigmor.

so yea, it took me while to figure out the cause, as i had to remember 4 years ago.

either way glad you got it sorted.

I've only had one crash since my 12 hours playtime so far, and that was fast travelling to white run right after going to helgan to discover alduin. seemed the game didn't like me doing that so I just fast traveled a little further away from the city and walked up to it and it was all fine.

You might want to check if you have any 2 or more mods that change the same thing. I had this same issue but mid playthrough since I added another mod which made the game crash everytime and it was a ebony blade retexure I had that was interfering with a different ebony blade texture mod but the conflict did not show up at all by loot so took me a while to figure it out

You saved me so much headache. Had the same problem as the OP. Came back to Skyrim after a long break and decided to try out mods I never played with. Thank you so much for sharing the way to fix it!
