Not sure what do to I have watched the tutorial videos. Using Vortex and getting a green lightning bolt for FNIS Data saying conflicts with Fores New Idles. Data is set to after, Fores is set to before and cant be changed. What do I need to download/install?? Just tried to 7zip a new version of SKSE and it got rid of the green lightning bolt, but still doesnt work, and after leaving the game the lighting bolt came back with same conflict...

I got """Current SE build 2.0.15 (runtime 1.5.73): 7z archive""" and installed it the way it said to, making it an archive and adding it to Vortex. I have gone through and removed all mods and made sure I was on Skyrim SE section and re-downloaded all of the mods I was attempting to use, and all of their "required" mods.

I told you in the Vortex Support thread, You are running LE mods in your SE game.

You also need SKSE64 to use FNIS, but I have no idea if you're using FNIS for LE or SE, it looks like you're trying to use FNIS for LE with SE, because it's asking for SKSE instead of SKSE64

Which of these mods arent SE and if the "current skse" isnt what I need then where is it?

Proper Length Arrows, and Smooth Draw and Sheathe are BOTH LE Mods, and Smooth Draw and Sheathe needs SKSE for Skyrim LE, which won't work with Skyrim SE and will cause crashes with SKSE64.

I have removed both mods, still getting same error. Whats next? Pretty sure SKSE64 is installed correctly...

Well judging by your mod list that has SKSE "Scripts.rar" I'd say NO.

You must've followed the instructions on "how to make SKSE64 a mod" wrong.

Because that RAR file shouldn't be showing up in your mod list, which tells me that you definitely don't have SKSE64 installed correctly.

You're better off following the install instructions that are included inside the SKSE64 ZIP

The reason its in the mods tab is the guy in the video and the tutorial on the website describe using Add to archive... and then uploading it into the mod manager.

I followed the readme in the skse64 zip and used the skse64.exe to try and launch the game and it flashes up black screen for a split second and then nothing happens.

Edit - used Run as Admin and the black screen lasts about 2 seconds longer.

Final fix was in troubleshoot of readme """"* Where is the skse.ini file?
- SKSE does not include one by default. Create an empty text file in <skyrim root>\Data\SKSE\ named skse.ini. Create the SKSE folder if it doesn't already exist.
"""""

works now thanks for the help
