kevkiev
any idea on when we non-skyrim folk will be able to download from the Kent premium server again? Hmmn... yeah, Kent's always worked for me in Skyrim, but I just tried to DL some FO3 stuff and just got 404 errors. Denver seems to be okay. Just FYI. ringgold99
yes, almost three months of no Kent server is a bit much now. My download speeds are awful on average using the Denver server (for mainly Oblivion files, and some Morrowind files), somewhere in the neighborhood of a non-premium server, and sometimes slower. I just wish someone would post some info regarding this instead of being so secretive. It is so silent it is creepy. This ain't the government for goodness sakes. We premium users have paid for this and are now not receiving it AND WE DESERVE SOME INFO ON WHEN WE WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE KENT SERVER AGAIN. This is only fair. In case no one remembers, this is what the signup site says for premium members.... "Download from two ((((TWO)))) file servers (one in the US, one in the EU) available just for them that no normal members can download from." I have posted numerous times in the proper place in the forums to get the problem solved but it is NEVER properly addressed. What is going on? Edit: Oh wait, let's just publish some mod sanctuary articles and push the problems since dawnguard further down the list without ever actually addressing the issues or letting the people know what we are doing. Maybe people will forget. Edited August 27, 2012 by ringgold99

WizardOfAtlantis
Just out of my own curiosity, but is anyone actually able to use the Skyrim Nexus? It's been totally unusable for me for over a month now.
Thandal
Just out of my own curiosity, but is anyone actually able to use the Skyrim Nexus? It's been totally unusable for me for over a month now. There are several hundred new or updated files in the past 48 hours alone. So yeah, I'd say many, many people are actively using it.
bben46
Some people see a problem and assume that because they have that problem. then everyone absolutely must have that problem. The reality is most people are not seeing these problems. But when one person reports it, then a second one verifies it, then they believe it absolutely must be a system wide bug. These problems are being looked into. But often we cannot duplicate the problem - and if you can't see it, you can't fix it. And the people who report often don't give much info beyond saying something like "FIX THIS &%$# BUG!!!!". - I don't see the bug, other people don't see the bug. so what is it? We need some info in order to find it.First, don't post in the general forums, that's not where we look for bug reports Go here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/460590-reporting-bugs/What OS?What browser & version? If applicable what game & version of game.Include the tracelog If you have a pirate version of a game and it's not working with NMM, that's not a bug, it's a feature. :whistling:We DO NOT support pirate versions of any games. Please do not post problems with your stolen copy. Posting problems with a pirate version and claiming it is legitimate is wasting our time and stealing the time we could be working on legitimate problems from the other members. >:( BTW, You cannot steal or pirate NMM, it's FREE. And we don't charge anything for it either. However we cannot provide support for any 'versions' except the latest one available here on the Nexus site.
WizardOfAtlantis
First off, thank you both for such quick replies! http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gifJust out of my own curiosity, but is anyone actually able to use the Skyrim Nexus? Lately I've been feeling like I'm living in the appendix of the internet, and the updates just aren't "getting to me." That's a really great feature! thanks, bben46 I'll head over there and give a look-see when I get a chance. But isn't that for NMM bugs? I'm not using NMM since DG came out because I'm not playing Skyrim since then. It's Skyrim Nexus, the web pages, that don't work or load for me. All my stuff's legal and up to date (or at least it was right before Dawnguard came out). My problem isn't with DG itself (I don't have it as it seems "worthless" if I can't get on and enjoy the Nexus, ha!), or NMM . My problem is the site itself, broken images, no descriptions...it's an almost blank white page with some black writing on it and some blue (links which work). No descriptions, etc. There's no way to read mod descriptions or even download mods through the site as clicking on what would be the Files tab doesn't bring up the tab as that functionality doesn't work. All pages on the Skyrim Nexus are like that. I'd take a picture of it but I can't screencap it. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/turned.gif All the other Nexus sites (FO3, FNV, etc, are giving me no problems). I'm on Win 7 using the latest Chrome. thanks, guys.
