I have been reluctant to post anything concerning my medical problems here. Until now. I saw my Interventional Radiologist Tuesday afternoon and he ruled out femoral angioplasty due to a number of complicating factors. This leaves me facing partial amputation of both legs. I see the surgeon on the 15th regarding this.

I hope that you are saved from amputation so you can have a full life. I myself would do everything within my power to find a way to avoid the amputation at all costs and see if there isn't a better way to recuperate my physical stability through slow less drastic methods of recovery.

Body Builder's scientist's have been studying the human body and creating otc concoctions since 1925 that are considered today to be a solution to build up the bodies own recuperative sources giving our bodily parts the ability to restore balance by stimulating them to work.

Rather then just dumping vitamins and minerals into our diets to give us a temporary support.

I hope you keep exploring your options for pre-surgery possibilities. Unless, i.e., you are like some friends I knew who seemed to want the doctor to carve them into a new and more handsome devil or voluptuous pretty woman.

Unless you're in a high risk for heart attack or stroke, or your feet going necrotic (essentially rotting because you can't get enough blood down there), get a second opinion or try to find a way to reduce those complications.

I don't know about your specific condition, but I can make a few guesses. Losing your legs won't solve the problem, it will only buy you more time, and usually not very much since your activity level will diminish greatly. I'm not a doctor, don't have medical training, but I do know that this isn't really a solution, just a bandage. You're going to need to make a serious lifestyle change no matter what, but losing your legs is a huge change to your quality of life. If you're not in immediate danger, you should try to get some alternatives or find a better doctor.
