Help needed for a big mod :D

Hello :) thanks for looking. Me and a small team of modders have come together to create a large, but not too complicated mod. The jist of it is: we are adding a new, unique, island with a quest line. We have about 3 designers and a few dedicated voice actors. We are doing pretty well and have done for a while now, but we could really use the help of someone experienced with the CK to add the planned quests to the game.

 

The quests aren't too complicated, but seeing as none of us have designed quests before, we are a bit lost.

Heh kinda reminds my situation from not long ago. Quest makers are the most hard people to find. I suggest PM some members who did mods with quests. You will have bigger chance finding help then

You know if you look on youtube there are a few easy to follow tutorials, in one night I learnt how to make a basic quest myself! :biggrin: It's a lot quicker than waiting for responses.

 

BTW I can't help out though i'm afraid, i'm waaay too busy.

@Ironman5000 Yeah, I know what you mean :) I looked as well and I found out how to make very basic quests, but the quest we're making involves some more complicated stuff than that XD hardest of which I think will be a pretty big skirmish between two small armies...

Hmmm Quests are difficult. What kind of quest you exacly would need?

 

I mean what actions you need to hapen in it. Is it just chat of NPC or it be like battle in thieves guild before water reaches top of room?

Heh, not THAT difficult ;). At the moment the basics would be talking to some people, getting a person to follow you to somewhere (not unlike Delphine following you to Kynesgrove, but they have to stay with you, not meet you there). The most complicated part of the questline would be a skirmish on a field. We'd need about 10-20 imperial soldiers and 10-20 others to fight them. But this needs to happen only when the player has advanced the quest to near the end, so the fight can't be happening earlier. Other than this, the rest is just having to talk to different people, and quest targets changing to suit the story. :)
