Conundrumist
I recently decided to start playing Skyrim again and installed the Special Edition from Steam for the first time and downloaded the latest version of Vortex. I am running Windows 10 64 bit with 32 gigs of RAM and have both Vortex and Skyrim SE installed on an external hard drive. I began modding yesterday and installed a few (3, Unofficial Patch, SkyUI, and Quality World Map - Paper) mods using Vortex. Everything seemed fine and the game launched perfectly fine through Vortex with SKSE64. Today I installed the remainder of the mods I intend to use (total of 30). I noticed after installation that the mods did not activate when I launched the game. I then realized that my plugins tab had disappeared. Mods and Save Game tabs are still present. After some research, I checked my extensions and found that the Gamebryo Plugin Interlock was marked as Failed. All other extensions are Enabled. I have tried to enable the extension without success. Selecting Enable generates no response from Vortex. Selecting Disable generates a request to restart, but upon restarting Vortex Gamebryo Plugin Indexlock remains Failed. Looking under Mods in Skyrim SE after launching it through Vortex with SKSE64, I can see all 30 mods, but only the 3 from yesterday are active. It does appear I can active the mods through that page, but of course I'd rather do it through Vortex. I have not tried to uninstall and reinstall Vortex (I seem to recall reading somewhere that it wouldn't help) nor have I done anything to the mods. I have attached the most recent diagnostic report from Vortex. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide. Thank you. Pickysaurus
Could you try downloading the latest version of Vortex and installing it over the top of your existing installation? That should fix any files in your current install that are having issues.
Conundrumist
By that, do you mean install 0.17.10? I am currently running 0.17.8 which is the latest stable version according to Nexus. Or did you mean reinstall 0.17.8?
Conundrumist
A reinstall of the program seems to have corrected the issue. I will update if I experience further problems.
