LE Van Helsing automatic crossbow

This could fit right in with the world of skyrim, a dwemer automatic crossbow in the vein of the Van Helsing movie could be awesome!

 

Gas Operated Automatic Crossbow

 

Carl (David Wenham) gives Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) a custom built Crossbow which automatically fires bolts from a rotating drum. The bow is said to be gas operated, but since it isn't a gun, the tank fitted in the stock is assumed to be the "gas", like a C02 tank. Van Helsing is seen using the Crossbow to take on Dracula's (Richard Roxburgh) brides Aleera (Elena Anaya), Marishka (Josie Maran), and Verona (Silvia Colloca) when they try to attack Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale) during the day, using the clouds for cover. After dunking the bow in holy water at the church, he uses the bow to successfully take out Marishka.

Now that would be awesome! But I am no modder unfortunately....I have been against fast reloading speeds on the Crossbows, simply for the fact that they are so overpowered as it is....But 'This'?....I would not be able to say 'no' to this, it would be too awesome.... :biggrin:

If you would have to hand-pump up the pressure in it with some long animation I think it could work, otherwise I don't really see how you could recharge the pressurized tank in a lore friendly way. Oh well, there is always magic, but that seems too easy :P

Anyway, good idea, and something that I would like to try out if it doesn't become too overpowered :)

i agree with this idea completely. just make it as a semi-automatic, and when the clip is gone, you reload of course. who says that's actually a gas tank that needs refilling? :P could very well be ornamentation :D

Well, Nobody here mentioned that mod, so I thought nobody knew there is Automatic Crossbow (Which seems to work well)
