A very simple BOSS question

Hello,

 

Running "O" on a Win 7 OS. Should BOSS be allowed to install itself in C:/programs or in the games file under programs where Oblivion is installed? Told you it was a simple question

but after 20 minutes of on-line searching/reading I found everything you'd ever want to know about the program except where to put it in Win 7.

(And we all know W/7 has it's...quirks...therefore the question.)

 

Also--and unrelated to this topic so please forgive me for not starting a new one but I've found that most folks who reply to my many ???'s know so much about so much more I thought I'd save us all

a bunch of time--I have my video textures set at small but am still getting blurry images in unexpected places. For example: The Armory Lab--my ingredient "card catalog" bins icons are all out of focus

but everything else in the room appears to be clear and fine. Any thoughts? (fyi: my rig shouldn't have any video or memory or whatever issues. She is a pretty reasonable beast.)

Can't help you with the blurry image question... :sad:

 

But as for where to install Boss? I have Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit, and have it installed to C:\Boss and it works just fine.

I have a difficult time telling when things are working properly or not...it's not like someone gives you a benchmark, guidebook of easy reference, or even a quick start manual.

 

I also run 64-bit.

 

I will re-post the "blurry" question next day I have off.
