I thought I wasnt supposed to do that because it would cause issues later on? Nope, the DATA folder in the SKSE64 is necessary because it contains the SCRIPT folder where all of the PEX files areThe install instructions included with SKSE64 even say to do that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

flhri Posted April 11, 2019 Share Posted April 11, 2019 You can bypass copying the data folder over: Extract all the files from the SKSE archivecopy .dll and .exe files to the game folder (where SkyrimSe and SkyrimSELauncher are)Right click the data folder from the SKSE archive and create a new ArchiveRename said archive something like SKSEInstall SKSE archive as a mod and enable (you may need to set data directory in MO2)This lets the scripts run without touching the games data folder.
