Andarus2
Like a week ago had an itch to play Skyrim again and after 2200hrs of LE I thought it would be finally time to move over to the SE. I modded the SE already a littel bit when around the time the CC came out, but I hated it and went back to LE until now.I picked the Nordic Guide and followed it. Everything went fine until I came to the NPC Section. After I installed the NPC Mods and checked my Game it started crashing, mostly while changing Cells (with Modded NPCs). After a little Troubleshooting I removed all the custom Plugins and Facegen from the Guide and just installed each Mod one by one with their Original Plugins. Men of Winter and the Orc Replacer worked fine. But the moment I activate either of the Big NPC Replacers I crash. Normally you think its some Mesh-Conflict that makes the Game crash, but even when I only have one NPC replacer enabled I crash sometimes. In my last try I came to the NPC Section again and tested my Game pretty long. I fast traveled to every City entered a bunch of Cells and stresstested my Game as hard as I could. No crashing. Then I activated Men of Winter and the Orc Replacer and still, no crashing, NPCs looked fine. All well!I activate Ordinary Women ran around in Whiterun to check the changed NPCs there, no crash. I go to Solitude check some NPCs there, no crash yet. I go to Riften - CRASH before I load into the City.I go out and disable Ordinary Women (obviously both Plugin and Meshes) ...go back, crash again (from the same Save I tried Men of Winter and Orcs before!). Its crazy and I have no idea whats going on.I'm pretty sure by now its not the Mods. I reinstalled and redownloaded pretty much everything multiple times now and even started the Guide from scratch twice! I double checked every Conversion, ran NifScan and Bethesda Assets Optimizer. Everything is rockstable until I reach the NPC section and then its like random Crashes are starting, pretty much no matter what (NPC)-Mods I activate/deactivate.Sometimes when my Skyrim crashes, my Firefox crashes with it, so I even downclocked my GPU and upgraded the GPU Driver. But I really doubt its my Hardware since all other Games run without crashing.- I tried MO 2.1.6 and MO 2.2.0 Beta8.- I deleted the SE Data Folder and everything in the Root-Folder (.dlls,EXE ect) and let Steam redownload it again.- I tried with or without ENB.- I disabled pretty much any other Mod except NPC Overhauls.#Speccs- i7 9700K- GTX 1080 Ti- 16GB DDR4-3200- Win 10- I play at 1080p/144Hz GSYNC with ENB locked at 120FPS.- ModOrganizer 2.2.0Beta8- Modwatch: https://modwat.ch/u/Hadley/plugins (up until the problem occurs). I'm pretty much about to give up. I have modded Skyrim since 2011 and have spend at least 1000hrs playing ModOrganizer with the LE and I NEVER had a problem like that. I could fix every problem I had and over the Years I got pretty confortable using xEdit, CK, Nifskope and Photoshop, so I have no idea what I'm missing. It must be something specific about the SE I overlooked. If it was the LE I would check my CrashFixes and ENBLocal settings but these don't exist in SE, so I really don't know what to do. Deleted58783396User
since you're running the game way beyond its limit (60fps = Limit) are you running This mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18160 if you are not running that mod then that is likely why you are experiencing issues. the game freaks out when it goes above 60 fps. so with that said, it could be the havok Physics engine crashing the game. (given how random the crashes can be *with regards to skyrim itself*, i would not be surprised if this was the case) recommend you grab that linked mod, if you insist on running the game @120 fps (will need to wait for it to be updated however, as the game has yet again been updated). Andarus2
I used that Mod, but I already tried limiting FPS to 60. No changes. Yesterday before I went to sleep I had a Idea that maybe it could be the FaceTint Change in the SKSE.ini. I disabled the SKSE Ini and actually got all NPC Overhauls to work for quite some time without a Crash. Then I disabled all NPC Overhauls, started the Game again ...CRASH. I'm completely lost here. I'm starting to think its some Memory Problem. Maybe it worked because I just started my PC and had no Browser or anything open.
