misterown1234
Hi all, I fear I have broken my levelled lists and I would like some help fixing them. Last week I decided to start up New Vegas after a long absence and was semi-following Sinitar's guide for a good mod setup. I have done this by myself in the past but I wanted help this time around. Once finishing the setup it was quite unstable and was having a lot of issues, mostly with the number of NPCs around so I did a fresh install with only the vanilla files and did most of it myself. Initially I had no problems with merge patching and Wrye Flashing but now I am. I am away from my main PC at the moment so I can't post my load order right now but I don't think it's a load order issue. As per the instructions with making a merged patch via FNVedit I removed the levelled list category in there in preparation for making a new Wrye Flash patch BUT Wrye Flash will not work. It starts to load but then crashes. I'm not sure why this is despite it working in the past. I don't get an error message and there is no updated error log in the text file. My problem is that Fiends/some other raiders are now spawning with HUNDREDS of items in their inventory, creating obvious balance issues and making the slow (and fun) discovery of items impossible. What I would like to do is to get the levelled lists into some sort of order so they work on a basic level OR figure out a way to get Wrye Flash working so it works even better. Thank you.
