Yagho
I just saw you decided to remove my screenshot. The one called “The Fall of Man”. The one with more than 100 endorsements. The one which went to Top Images within 1 hour. The one which has already been on the Nexus for 13 (!) days. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? After 13 days, at least a dozen moderators and staff members must have seen the image and decided not to delete it. And then? What happened now? One single, brave mod decided to “set the world right” again? Or what? Do you have ANY idea how much work I put into this? Do you have ANY idea how much all those amazing comments meant to me? Do you have ANY idea how much it means to a screenarcher like me to get 100 endorsements within 2 weeks on a shot? Do you have ANY idea how devastating it is to have one’s best picture taken away? I’ll tell you. It’s so devastating, it makes me want to quit the Nexus. PS: This is it – what’s left of it.http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/thumbnails/439096-1344008467.jpg

Yagho
The respective areas were covered. Before posting the shot, I tried to get an answer from several mods whether I could upload it. I even tried talking to Dark0ne. All to no avail. So I took my chances and took the shot not being taken down as consenting silence. But letting a shot sit in Top Images for 2 weeks before removing it - seriously???
TheVampireDante
The respective areas were covered. Not covered enough... Before posting the shot, I tried to get an answer from several mods whether I could upload it. I even tried talking to Dark0ne. All to no avail. So I took my chances and took the shot not being taken down as consenting silence. You never asked me, I would have told you no. But letting a shot sit in Top Images for 2 weeks before removing it - seriously??? First I knew of it. If I'd seen it on the day of upload I'd have pulled it. Dark0ne
Can confirm I got a message asking if it was OK from you, it was half-way through my holiday when I was receiving about 200 messages a day from people asking why the site was overloaded, so sorry for not responding. Having said that, our rules couldn't be much clearer in that regard "...or characters that are wearing so little they might as well be naked". I can see the areola of the woman's nipple for goodness sake...it's not rocket science to work out it's not acceptable based on the very simple description offered in the warning box. Yagho
You never asked me, I would have told you no. I did. I asked both of you. The first time I naively and foolishly uploaded without the adult-tag (having never dealt with "nudity"-content before) and it was removed within 2 minutes.I approached you in the chat whether I could upload it with adult-tag and you told me you dont know, you couldn't see the image and I should wait till someone talked to me about it. No one ever did. First I knew of it. If I'd seen it on the day of upload I'd have pulled it. The first one gets removed within 2 minutes and the second one gets by - in Top Images - for 13 days without anyone noticing?Without any malice: I find that hard to believe. Having said that, our rules couldn't be much clearer in that regard "...or characters that are wearing so little they might as well be naked". I'm sorry but they're not, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks so.Trust me had I known a little more about the topic when I made the shot I would have covered them up like nuns. But I didnt know, so I did what I thought was tasteful. You seeing what you are is nothing more than due to the fact that is extremely difficult to line up everything perfectly - I still maintain there's absolutely nothing offensive in my shot. I mean, for crying out loud, every children's bible shows more than I did! (Trust me, I checked). And every classical painting would have to be classified as porn if you take that yardstick. bben46
I also received that message, and it was during the time when the site was throwing up problems every other post. I wrote a lengthily reply - hit post and got an error - on checking back, not only hadn't my now lost post shown up, but I couldn't find the original PM. I'm not sure if the site error removed the PM I was working on or what. I also had no Idea if the PM was sent or not. I thought I removed the pic - but again with so many site errors It could have borked yet again. At one time, I was so fed up with the site I didn't check it for nearly 2 days. And never followed up on that pic. :wallbash: Mea culpa
Dark0ne
You seeing what you are is nothing more than due to the fact that is extremely difficult to line up everything perfectly Me seeing what I'm seeing is because it's right there in front of me to see, and nothing more than that. It seems like you were just unlucky in the timing between the very rocky server performance and staff holidays. The point still remains that the image is not acceptable in the normal image share and that is that. You haven't been given a strike or even a warning (as far as I'm aware) so I'll draw a line under this.
