Caradilis
Hey everyone!I've been playing Skyrim SE on my new laptop since Christmas, no issues and GPU/CPU are definitely able to handle it, I also don't play a heavily modded game, and I checked all my mods, and the required files were all installed... But recently (since Thursday or Friday) I open my game, play about a minute and then the game just crashed to desktop and I have no idea what I did... (I recently started playing with the Heljarchen Farm mod installed, and the game always crashes when I'm there, so maybe I didn't put it in the right place in my load-order?) Please help! Thanks,Caradilis
Jannifer
A good rule of thumb when that starts happening is to uninstall the last mod you added. Deactivate the mod, go back to an earlier save and see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, then you've found your culprit. :)
Moksha8088
When you install a new mod, it always helps to run the LOOT program afterward for your load order. A mod manager like the latest Nexus Mod Manager makes the installation process fool proof. https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases

Caradilis
Okay, not the mod's fault... Figured that though, mod has been installed since last week and worked perfectly fine up until Friday... Any other ideas? :ermm:

Caradilis
Okay, so I ran LOOT and it found 6 "dirty files", how do I clean them? or has loot done that already?

You will need xEdit for that. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/
