Caedeis
I was in Riverwood and I wanted to test out my completed Unrelenting Force Shout and I accidently hit a guard. Then the other guards of Riverwood started attacking me too so I killed them all and ran away to do some other quests. However, now I need to go back in order to talk to Delphine and start the Diplomatic Immunity quest but she and every other resident of the town attacks me on sight and since I killed the guards, I have nowhere to turn myself in (even though I don't even have a bounty in Riverwood) there. Do I have to load a save from before I attacked the guards in order to fix this? I'd really prefer another method because I completed several quests between then and now and I don't want to have to do them over again.
Javalin
It could be that the persons disposition is so low towards you, that they see you as a hostile. Revert to a save before you used Unrelenting Force on people. Thanks. Jav
Murietta
So, could you pay some money to guards that they didn't pursued you everywhere?Or you could kill all of them, last witnesses that from you removed penalties.Nevertheless, it once again says that it is better not to break the Law (and make more saves). Roxxo
I had the same thing happen. I forgot I hadn't switched from Unrelenting Force and accidentally Fus'd a group of people in Riverwood and everyone in the town attacked me. I had to go back to an earlier save since the guards wouldn't accept my surrender and just kept attacking.
Anich
I've dealt with similar problems also, and noticed that sometimes it takes a couple of times to sheathe your weapon before guards accept your surrender and you can either pay your bounty off or go to jail or whatever. So try to draw and sheathe your weapon a couple of times repeatedly, it helps sometimes.
helloguy1232
1. Use the Calm Spell to talk to Delphine. 2. Use one of two console commands 1. The Pay bounty command(considering you say you don't actually have a bounty, this might not work) 2. Add everybody in the inn to the player ally faction, so you can Talk to Delphine.
