ShelLuser
Hi gang! I would like to share my appreciation as well as admiration for both the Nexus website and of course the Vortex client. This evening I dove much deeper into Skyrim modding than I had anticipated (in short: a mod went haywire on me ending up on my followers getting "corrupted": their dialog would be that of a follower, but their actions let them straight to their homes / default locations). Not only did I manage to undo the problems (I know about the risks of removing a mob in between saves) I also figured that I should grab some more mods and well... one thing led to another  I've learned quite a bit about Vortex in the mean time (though I still got plenty to discover), for example I wasn't aware (but had suspicions) that L.O.O.T. was somewhat integrated, that is definitely a nice touch. I really think that way to many players highly underestimate the things you can actually do with Vortex (such as my example above with the followers: thanks to both Vortex and the Follower mod I managed to reverse the damage, even though I prefer playing with the Amazing Follower tweaks). Originally I decided to go Premium because I could afford it and it seemed the right thing to do (also because I planned on modding more than just my favorite of Skyrim SE... which, on a side note, is another thing I heavily respect: I originally modded Skyrim SE purely as a guest user. I thought that was a really solid setup). And even when I seriously messed up (= classic PEBCAK on my part) I still got all the help I needed to help me learn what I did wrong, so much for my false assumptions that Vortex couldn't cleanly update itself ("oops"). So yeah, wanted to share. I'm seriously enjoying Nexus / Vortex and I think you guys are doing an amazing job with this platform which makes mods much more accessible to us players!
