nexbil01
I feel bethesda missed an opportunity with the radio towers. The player should have had to activate and tune the towers in to the radio freedom frequency in order for you to receive requests for help. Also to build ham radios in every settlement. Different factions could fight over the towers Instead of going to arcjet labs, danse could have led the player to a radio tower to send a signal to the BoS The institute could use the towers as relay points for the transportation signal and the player could make life hard for them by disabling them. A lot of different possibilities.
metaphorset
Never occurred to me, probably due to the many, many, MANY other opportunities they missed. Things like being able to climb ladders, for example - a thing so outrageously complicated that it hasn't been done in any game up to 2015, right? (lol jk) Seriously, before they put more mini quests into the game, that have a high probability to break due to the savegame system, they should work at the animation system first. They got rid of the stickfigure movement from Skyrim, but at the same time reintroduced the old "npcs cannot talk or fight while performing actions" method. Oh, and they also should definitely drop that thing where npcs in the game don't STFU. It annoys the crap out of me, especially in situations where you actually want to listen to one NPC while others walk by and keep telling the tales of their lives. Ah, at least they take (or took, regarding the microtransaction hell that is Fallout 76) baby steps into the right direction. Having more accurate shooting mechanics makes this game so much more enjoyable for me.
dark47
These are just more opportunities for the mod authors to step in. He, he Too bad it has to be that way, but yeah ... (It's like that, and that's the way it is")
