Block Additions Do Not Show In-Game

====[Fixed]====

I am currently attempting to add a hat model to a werewolf and all looks well in the editor, but the added hat model does not show in-game.

Here's what I've done so far:

- Copied hat branch

- Pasted the hat in the werewolf's .nif

- Got the werewolf's root to identify the hat as a child

Now what I don't understand is what determines what part of the skeleton my block is parented to and why the hat is not showing anywhere around my character in-game.

I've looked at a multitude of tutorials such as this one: http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Making_New_Armor_Using_NifSkope , but I haven't found any useful information.

Is what I'm attempting simply not possible solely using NifSkope?

You can't just paste an alien object onto an actor and expect it to move along. Sorry, to effectively do this you'll have to use modelling programs such as Blender or 3DS max. The hat needs to know which bones to follow as the actor moves. And although this is possible in NifSkope, it's a nightmare. Just use modelling programs - look up a guide on how to do this. It's much less intimidating than it may seem.

I like your concept, hah.
