DrifterX6667
I am new to using Vortex because i only downloaded it today. I have been unable to Authorize my Nexus account which i have had for some time. i have read everything about logging in the knowledge base.i have restarted Nexus and my laptop 7 times each.i have logged in and out of Nexus on the website countless times. When i click on the red icon and then click on the button to open the website it does nothing. It doesn't give me a URL or anything. It then closes when i get a notification telling me that it failed to get my access key. Pickysaurus
Are you on the latest version of Vortex? There should be a fallback option in Vortex if our SSO login is blocked on your end. It looks like this:
FilthyFox
Mine does not even give an option like that. The log in button just stays there and then the errors pop up

Pickysaurus
There does seem to be a bug in Vortex that if the websocket (used to attempt the SSO) never opens it will crash out of the login process. This usually does not fail unless you have something blocking it. I've raised it with Tannin as an issue for a future release to address though. For now I would investigate if any programs on your PC (such as Anti-Virus or Firewalls) would be blocking Vortex's ability to open a web socket.
