Almost all NPC say "Hey" Then end dialogue!!!!

I think I have installed a mod that made lots of NPCs say the word "Hey" in a dialogue window then end the conversation! Did anybody have this problem before?

Even Willow the companion do the same when I talk to her. But when I talk to her for the second time it goes on normally. Unfortunately that doesn't happen with other NPCs?!

Is there a way to know what's causing this? or how to make a patch that fix the problem if possible.

Is there a console command that can make the dialogue start or something?

It sounds like you have a mod that changed the GREETING dialogue where the "Hey" is not set to any NPC.

You have to disable some mods until it's fixed to find out which one is doing it.

Once you find it you can open that mod in GECK then open the quest that has 0* in the "Count" column, go to Topic tab, and look for GREETING. Delete that "Hey" topic or make sure it is set to the correct NPC. It should also be set to priority 90.

It could also be under Conversation tab under the topic HELLO and priority should be 50.

Instead of a "Hey" I get a "Hi" with no sound and then conversation end pls!!!Help!!!

If I still have this problem I can't do certain quests or recruit companions!!!

I'd say the #2 post advice is still solid. But actually you should have made a new topic , since we're not supposed to revive threads this old. Not sure the stipulations on that , but its in the forum rules.

And yes people do it all the time , so don't feel like you're a loner on doing it.
