UnholyShadow
During the Democratic primaries (at the beginning of the whole thing), the only two I did not like were Obama and Clinton. (Full Disclosure: I liked Kucinich and Richardson for the Dems and Ron Paul for the GOP. In my primary (Libertarian) I voted for Mike Jingozian). With the current situation of candidates, I am 90% sure I will be voting for McKinney since I cannot get over Barr's vote for the Patriot Act.You liked Kucinich and Ron Paul? They are pretty much exact opposites
Chesto
What i dont get - and as a non USian , you can tell me to fek off - is that here you all are, articulating your respective views extremely well, and your country must be full of folks similar to yourselves, and yet someone like dubbyah gets voted in, not once, but twice. what is with the USian voters? how do you get the Prezzes you get?! Sniperwhere
I find it funny how many people vote for McCain because they blieve his plan is much better. What plan? Sure he may say what category he's gonna act in but he always seem to crap out when it comes to actually telling what it is he's gonna do. Obama on the other hand actually has a solid, meritable plan. he describes in detail what he's gonna do, and how he's gonna take care of it. Which is a great attribute in presidency. Now, there's no way to tell if he'll be able to do all of this, but the same can be said for anyone. One thing about McCain, he's like a clone of George Bush with a better ability to actually get the words out of his mouth. Plus, McCain strikes me as childish and a coward. For one, he's afraid to challenge the gas company because he thinks it'll create irreversible problems in the economy. he's afraid to end the war on terrorism because he's afraid we'll get over run by a country no larger than one of our states. And for the childish part, he's threatening to refuse to attend an important debate if they don't pass a bill he wants passed. Now, why on Earth would we want a president who takes a bratty attitude like that when he doesn't get his way? If you ask me, Obama is without a doubt, the best candidate we could get. delphinus
Here we are all spaced out with bad information. Is this Obama gonna be the winner? I hope so. USA is leading the world, and there is urgent need for someone who puts an end to the most idiot war of all times, i laugh at the ones who still believe this war is for peace. (shame on us that we followed Fuhrer Bush orders, and sent our cannon fodder to Iraq too) One thing i'm not sure if Obama is really thinking to change these things, so i ask you american friends: Is he reliable or not? Is he honest or he's just taking votes for his election?

Recently he's realized that lots of Americans don't like not knowing about his proposed course of action, so he has started putting ads out on T.V. telling people to go to his website to find out more about his views/plan. To have to do this is an obvious showing of how he pussyfoots around subjects without always actually letting people know what he thinks about them. Can you prove that? And while you're at it, prove that McCain is actually saying anything real? And how does asking people to check his site to see what his plans are, make him pussyfooting? The fact that he's putting his plans on his site means he wants people to know and understand his plans. Maybe you should actually look into both of them thoroughly next time. Then make your judgement.
myrmaad
This thread is full of insanity. The crude the US uses is only No 1 Sweet, which we don't have here in the US. So we sell off the lower quality crude to foreign countries. So all these people who keep saying there's plenty, maybe there is but it's not what the US is interested in using or buying. I'm just the reporter I don't know why, and I'm certainly not in charge of making that decision, but I'll bet there's an explanation, and it probably has to do with our facilities. It would take time and money for them to be upgraded, but they are owned by the oil companies who've not invested of penny of their record windfall earnings into those badly needed upgrades. ... McClown is another republican, and we'll have more of the same fiasco with him "bleeding" the country. I've been into politics for years, and Obama is saying a lot of the things I've been saying for years. But most people here in this country are so selfish they can't see how they could benefit from a "common good", it's all about "what's in it for me, screw you". When that attitude is exactly what has run this country into the ground. If you're not making over $250,000 a year and you vote for McClown and that "C" his loser, low-class, bloodless running mate, then you are off your rocker. In my opinion.
