nosisab
Is there any way I can make oblivion take screen shots as jpegs, not bitmaps?sadly no, The screenhot system at the game is very basic and will not allow even take it if antialiasing is on. If you want compressed image formats like jpeg and others you'll need some third part applications, like Fraps, for example, or convert the bitmap as suggested by simonp92 and delete the original to save disc space. CoolCat6
I think you can use the Print Screen button on your keyboard and open a program like MSPaint to paste it and save as a certain format, but you can only do one at a time.
roquefort
Better to use Irfanview (free download, and get all the plugins as well) if all you have is MSPaint. You can then mess around with the image, improve colours/contrast/size or whatever, before saving.
UnholyShadow
Yeah, I usually just use paint to convert it. It's not that big of a deal, only a minor annoyance having to open every screen in paint xD
WoogieMonster
You can this program http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/search?qt=purrint to save screenshots as jpegs. Just point it to the folder where you want the pictures to go and every time you press the button it will save the screen. It's a very small program and works very well. If you only have MSpaint, may I also suggest this program http://www.getpaint.net/ for such a small and free program it is extremely powerful, I don't know what I would do without it. For something closer to the level of professionals, I recommend this http://www.gimp.org/ I have seen many people say that this kept them from buying photoshop. It is also free. If need be, I can help you with both purrint and paint.net, however gimp is far out of my league.
