0078(01)078: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: MORE BIG EVENTS IN JADEKINARIA

The Waygateway would not allow demons, or demonic spirits, through. Others were also not being let through while yet others were ending up in the three security quarantine zones, which were slowly filling up. They were graded at levels of threat being Red, Amber and Yellow. Of course Red indicated the most dangerous and Yellow the least. Red held the most folks and Yellow the least number of them.

For some reason werefolk, that is werewolves and other kinds, were ending up going through but in the Amber or Yellow Zone. Some vampires were appearing in the Red Zone as were members of the Dark Brotherhood. Crisis made the Waygates more tolerant somehow, or so it seemed, but this still meant that the Jadekinarian Imperial Commonwealth had to deal with these people.

One good result of the in flooding of refugees was the the Jadekinarian Imperial Dominion was taken by surprise and withdrew many of its forces, going into a defensive stance until its leadership could decide just what to do next.

The Citystate of Mechanicoto was struck by a sudden and violent rebellion as its heavily oppressed work force, and slaves, struck against their masters. Well resourced Terran shaperfolk had done their work well, exploiting weaknesses in the Mechanicotton government and guilds, in the corruption of their officials and petty officials. They had supported rebel and reformist factions. They had provided weapons, explosives, leaflets and much else to both types of factions. Even as the citystate exploded, into the metropolis moved JIC special forces units and then more conventional military units. Fighting was short lived because most of the soldiers had no real stomach for a fight; the citystate leadership were too cowardly to put up with much resistance or quickly fled, betraying their own people.

Then word came from Mechanicoto that the huge complex of underground warehouses, supposedly full of manufactured items ranging from aeroplanes to cans of preserved food, shovels, rifles and much else, was over a third empty. Somebody, something, had seemingly taken a vast amount of resources with an emphasis on warmachines, weapons and resources linked to them. JIC military forces, along with rebel allies, were quick to take control of what was left but all of the best weapons and warmachines were gone.

They found the remnants of a smashed TeleportGate, the destruction plan had gone wrong and had failed to destroy the gate enough to disguise what it had been. It did not take too long to work out that all of the stolen resources, along with many traitors, had teleported far north to the huge fortified city of Ashanburg of the ImpDom.

The good news was that a plan to steal, or destroy, all of the stored resources had been foiled by the rebellion along with plans to destroy all of the factories left behind. It seemed that there were Mechanicoton traitors who had always planned to betray their own people along with those of the Imperial Commonwealth.

The urgent search began to find other, possible, hidden TeleportGates or other tricks that might threaten both the FreeAlliance and the ImpCom. A small TeleportGate was found, underground and hidden, close to EvaLaketown but it was long deactivated and had not been used for many years. The searches continued even as the phony war with the ImpDom continued. Both sides reinforced front line zones and kept watch on each other, building up forces and trying to deal with enemy infiltrators and guerrilla fighters. Some skirmishes took place on the borders, artillery fire was exchanged, aeroplanes fought dogfights in the air and raids did take place but the conflict had largely ground to a halt even before it could properly get going. Yet everybody expected that this situation would soon change and they believed they knew what would happen next; they were mistaken!

0079(01)079: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: CURSED TREASURES

A huge, well lit glowcrystal cavern stretched into the distance and it was filled with what looked like treasure. There were heaps of golden coins, strange flying-saucers of gleaming silver, marble statues, huge open chests of large glittering gems, exotic swords, strange wheeled vehicles, golden golems studded with glowing rubies, exotic looking gaming machines, weird guns, strange musical instruments, naked figures that looked like silken skinned and haired humans of amazing beauty and much else. It was but a small part of what was there and a strange, disturbing black-gray glimmering mist drifted across much of it. At any one time at least part of the great treasure was hidden by what Jadelegs called the GlimmerMist.

“It is all cursed and if the barriers were not in place, you could 'sense' it to be so.” Jadelegs stood at one of three big open doorways filled with invisible barriers of great energy power. “Deeply cursed and slowly breaking down only to be slowly regenerated in a very unnatural way. “Fragments of memories come to me, that is shared inherited mageborn memories of the Dragonblood. Me but not really me: I am reborn as one that was there amongst the Skylanders who thought they had found a way of gaining godlike powers and amazing treasures for free, but nothing is gained for free, nothing! There is always a price to be paid!”

Saggisnootik was obviously puzzled. “Do you not make wonderful things appear for free? You have given many of them to us goblinfolk.”

Jadelegs shook her head. “No, I earn something called fategamecredit and then I spend it on stuff to give to wonderful goblinfolk.”

Saggisnootik studied Jadelegs for a moment as if in shock. Then she spoke. “We could tell you about the other treasures we found.”

“I was hoping you would do so.” Jadekin pointed to the black-gray fog. “That is the worst kind of undeath. All that false treasure, including the coins, started out with magical abilities; they self repaired themselves and lasted a very long time as wondrous things; but then they began to change, began to degrade, began to emit the black-gray mist. Terrible things happened and such artifacts were put into places like this and sealed off.”

Saggisnootik looked puzzled. “Why did you not destroy them?”

“Because we found no safe way to do so, none, though we tried for many centuries.” Jadelegs sighed. “I was one of those who found out how to make wondrous things appear for nothing, I was one of the fools who brought this curse to my people, and to others, so many thousands and thousands of years ago. Yet we were young and we were tricked, were seduced, by one that is called the TwistedGod.”

Saggisnootik made a warding symbol against evil. “Aaahhh, the TwistedGod, focus of all great evil, the father-mother of all devils; the first maker of the great undead and much else besides. It is said amongst our people that long ago our people served him-it-her in great armies but that he-it-she betrayed us.”

“The TwistedGod can not do anything but betray for such is at the very heart of its 'nature'.” She turned to the goblin. “How many more big chambers like this?”

“We found only this and one more, even bigger than this, before we got frightened and stopped looking, that is when some of our best scouts and warriors vanished.” Saggisnootik shivered. “Also two powerful shamans who went with them just in case magic was needed. One is my brother.”

0080(01)080: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: MORE TREASURES AND A TERRIBLE HIDDEN TRUTH

The other 'treasure' was a whole lot of secondary stuff that was not materialized and thus did not start to break down. There were flying-saucers, flying-globes, motowheelers, rows of bladeguns, rows of golems, some TransBaseCubes like silvery cubes, some TransCubes, some TransGlobes, heaps of golden finger-ingots sealed and branded, power armor suits, datacrystals, power-crystals, power-gems, sealed bins of powder, sealed drums of serums, more drums, more bins, storage canisters, an elegantly powerful skyboat and much much more. This treasure was far larger, but far more harmless, than was the other. There was no black-gray mist.

A strong barrier was in place but it was nowhere near as strong as the ones that had held in the false treasures in safety. The goblinfolk looked hopefully from her, to the treasure, and back again. Yet Jadelegs 'sensed' something 'odd' about the chamber, something that somehow did not fit, that 'nagged' at her.

Then, with a jolt, she knew what it was.

=-=Yes, a very clever illusion! Are you ready to see what is really there?

For just a moment she did and crashed to her knees to bend her head. In that position she remained for a while in obvious silent agony and great grief while the goblinfolk sought to comfort her. They were most troubled by what was going on but did not understand.

Then she stood again before leaving, gently and firmly ushering the goblinfolk away. The whole area was soon being sealed off with some tunnels being closed, with great power-doors locked firm and many steel golems guarding the area. Other chambers were there but she did not even attempt to look into them. There were no missing goblinfolk in that area, which was very important.

Then she forebade certain areas to the goblinfolk and, such was her voice, was something in her voice, that the goblinfolk took her words to heart at once. Soon goblinfolk patrols and sentries were helping to seal off the areas; this both took Jadelegs by surprise and pleased her very much.

When the goblinfolk led her to a series of big chambers full of basic power-artifacts, coinage, treasures of jewelery, weapons and such like, she at once gave over much to the goblinfolk. Carefully sorting everything, Jadelegs gave over bladeguns that spat energy darts, heating bowls to cook things in like juicy chunks of rat meat, lifter-disks that floated through the air, bags of coinage to use for trading purposes, sacks of salt, bottles of serums, self sharpening bladed weapons and tools, shovels, wheel-barrows, power-carts, branded-sealed finger-ingots of copper, silver and gold, motowheelers, books, cans of preserved food and much else.

Yet she kept much to one side and had golems, hulknoids and other special servants lock them away. Such were basic TransDevices, true power-artifact, strange statues and much else of the kind. She assured the goblinfolk of her intentions to make more available to them after they had some special teaching and training.

They came to a vast underground complex that was a long abandoned supercity. It had many great chambers, great hallway passages, mighty archways and columns, grand statues and much else. Murals of the people were faded but still full enough to show a very rich, busy, sophisticated but rather relaxed civilization. There were giant humans but many more standard sized humans along with many other kinds of humanoids and other entities. There were animals, plants, robots, androids (not just of humans) and other such as well. They only saw a tiny portion of it before Jadelegs asked to be taken to the next points of interest that the goblinfolk had found.

0081(01)081: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: IMPERIAL DOMINION TROUBLES

The reports of fighting to the north came rapidly. The ImpDom appeared to be abruptly fighting some kind of civil war. Then military, paramilitary and other groups began to move rapidly south but not to invade but to surrender to ImpCom forces. People fleeing from the north, including freed slaves, spoke of sudden madness amongst the ImpDom Leadership, of mass murder, of demoninoes possessing many people and other creatures, of the ImpDom President declaring that they had all been betrayed, for all people to flee south, taking with them freed slaves and animals. Ashanburg burned, smoke filling the sky, buildings collapsing into rubble, flames engulfing whole blocks.

What happened to the President? In the end the tyrant turned and led a great rear action against demonic monsters and traitors, a suicidal battle as refugees kept fleeing and took what they could with them of resources, artifacts and much else. The president stabbed to death a powerful demonar leader just before being murdered himself by other demonars. Many demoninoes, demonars and traitors perished in the great battle that raged in the dying city.

By the time former ImpDom forces, and ImpCom forces, arrived at Ashanburg in force to save over half of the city, the enemy was gone. Most of the effort then became that of fighting the raging firestorm unleashed by demonic magic and too many warehouses full of highly inflammable, often explosive, substances. They were also often highly toxic. Science, magic, quasimagic and sheer effort went into fighting the blazes along with some brilliant strategies and canny thinking.

Jadekin herself took charge of the operation to save Ashanburg. Steel golems were amazingly capable of fighting the fires, of surviving crashing buildings, of saving people. Firefighters in quasimagical armor were very successful as were summoned elemental entities of flame and other devices. Summoned rainstorms helped and much was water damaged. Then it was over and the Imperial Dominion was gone for ever, or so it seemed.

It turned out that the President, along with some others, had turned against the secret rulers of the ImpDom some five years ago and had been working secretly against them ever since. Why? Because they had learned what was planned went way beyond their own level of corruption, of evil, went into a place they could not stand to go. The plan was that the President, along with many others, would be willingly possessed and then be absorbed to become demonars. The city of Ashanburg would then become a living hell that would then spread across Jadekinaria. Jadekinaria would become part of the new Imperial Dominion as ruled by the Sabtur Dynasty of damans, mortal demons. Damans could not be possessed by demoninoes or become demonars for they were the children or descendents of still fertile demoninoes. Demonars could neither father or give birth to children.

Thanks to the President, and his allies, the plan had failed. Then Shakira, who had vanished on some special mission that she would not speak of, emerged from Ashanburg. Shakira, an aspect of the Eternal Champion, revealed that she had been assisting the President, had formed a wary alliance with him, and had influenced his nature so that he had gone through a fundamental change. In the end he was truly a hero and not just somebody trying to save himself, and others, from a terrible fate; he had willingly given his life knowing it was the only way as the fighting had come to a head. For the powerful demonar he had killed was no less than the leader of the demonic forces in Ashanburg. He had lopped off the head of the very autocratic, and hierarchical, form of command structure. Most demons were not very good at thinking for themselves, were used to taking orders, and so their war effort was greatly weakened.

Empress Jadekia, Imperial Warlord Jadekin and Shakira met in the Imperial Commonwealth City, in a newly reconstructed area of the Palace close to the White Gold Tower. They spoke of many events that had taken place, including the vanishing of Baurus; the last happening did not surprise them.

0082(01)082: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: IT'S JADEKINARIA

Jadelegs smiled as she looked out over the domeland that was bigger than 'JadelegsLand' as the goblinfolk persisted in calling it. It was over a hundred times bigger than the other domeland and one could not see the further side of it. Which made sense for it was Jadekinaria itself. To get there they had gone through an active Waygate, through a Waygateway, and another Waygate. They were on a high area of land overlooking a great body of water of the High Western Great Lake.

Mushroom-trees did indeed look like such, growing forest like over the area but they were not really trees at all but were quasiliving buildings that served other purposes, that were part of an ancient growing city. The 'strange beasties', as the goblinfolk had called them, were great towers that rose amongst the mushroom-trees, that were semiactive now but which had once processed mushroom-trees that had reached a certain age. The mushroom-trees were turned into many useful products for the ancient civilization that once had dwelt in Jadekinaria.

Behind her was the great big chamber with the huge, ancient statues of Jadekin, as she once was with another name, along with others. They were the nine giant human teenagers, the three exotic creatures and the robotic sphere with a smaller sphere circling it.

The 'missing' goblinfolk had soon shown up, bringing with them some gifted items that Jadelegs promptly confiscated from them for the small power-artifacts were too dangerous for goblinfolk. She frowned softly at them and then promised them compensation if they gave her a good report on what they had found. Turned out they had met some local people called wozzles, furry folk quite cute, adorable and dangerous. Yet the goblinfolk were soon getting on with the wozzles quite well. The wozzles had not cared for the power-artifacts, had warned the outsiders that the items were dangerous, but had passed them over as goodwill gifts. It turned out the goblinfolk had always intended on Jadelegs having them, perhaps hoping she would give them rewards for passing the power-artifacts to her.

Jadelegs spoke to the goblinfolk. “Return to JadelegsLand! Carry out the instructions I gave you earlier on. No more exploring strange places. Stay away from the supercity. There is plenty enough for you to do with following my instructions. Go as quickly as you can and avoid the areas that I have had sealed off or am having sealed off. That includes the supercity that will take a much more time and effort to seal in. Soon, as promised, we will have a big festival to celebrate the coming together of Jadekia, Jadekin and myself. There will be lots to eat, lots to drink, good dancing, small valuable gifts, great games and much else.”

Saggisnootik smiled much and bowed. “We will carry out our instructions with much diligence, oh Jadelegs of the wondrous legs.”

Then the goblinfolk turned and hurried off. They were soon gone. After a moment she spoke out. “You can come out from hiding.”

With a soft shimmering Baurus became visible. He strode across to stand closer to Jadelegs but not too close. “Talos sent me here. Talos abducted the real Emperor Uriel Septum VII from my Alternate Tamriel, along with others. Talos, the Human Divine, great hero of the Empire, abducted the Emperor before he could be assassinated. I spoke to Talos through a great warrior follower of his, not directly to Talos. She, TalosSofia, a Human DemiDivine and a daughter of Talos, gave me instructions to try to find out what was going on in the Imperial City. She gave me some special divine magical artifacts to assist my mission. I met Jadekin in the tavern in the Imperial Undercity. It was most strange for I am not sure how I ended up there. One moment I was walking in another part of the Imperial Undercity and then I was walking into the tavern.”

0083(01)083: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: BAURUS SURPRISE?

Baurus frowned softly. “Talos wanted me to spy on Jadekin and to send information to him using one of the divine magical artifacts that TalosSofia gave me. I grew uncomfortable with spying on Jadekin, with being deceptive with her. Then we ended up being in the HizaLibrary Realm and the divine magical artifact ceased to function; I lost contact with Talos; that is I could send no more messages or receive any more instructions. Then we came here to the TransDomain of Jadekinaria and to my surprise, the divine artifact began to function again but not perfectly. I gained instructions and gave information but could only do such things some of the time. I got instructions to come here, to this very place, and then the divine artifact ceased to function once again.”

Jadelegs sighed. “Yes, yes, a very believable story!” Then she whirled with amazing speed, drawing her longsword and slashed it at 'Baurus'.

The fake Baurus leapt backwards and became the beautiful Nordic young woman appearing TalosSofia, DemiDivine daughter of Talos himself. She was covered in divine magical armor and had both a powerful divine magical longsword and round shield. The DemiDivine smiled richly and then counter attacked. The two fought with astounding speed, agility and skill. They danced but never lost their balance. They were never taken off guard. Quasimagical blade and divine magical blade often struck each other or blades struck either shield or bladeshield.

Then the two drew back from each other. TalosSofia was not smiling so richly any more. “A TwistedDemigod came to my Divine Father, Talos, and proved that one day there would be no Septums on the Dragonthrone and that a new Emperor would betray Talos and his followers to the damned Falmer Elves. The Empire would ban all worship of Talos and the Blades would be hunted to their deaths. There would be a war in Skyrim ending with the further suppression of the worship of Talos. Many of those faithful to Talos would suffer at the dark, savage attentions of the Falmer. In betraying Talos, who was chosen by the Eight Aedra Divines, they betrayed all of the Nine Divines. Or so would have happened if Talos had not intervened to abduct Emperor Uriel Septum VII in a plan to soon return him, alive, to the Dragonthrone. Then there were complications. The shaperfolk intervened but also the demonars. A fake Emperor Uriel Septum VII took the throne. Talos' plans were thwarted. The real Emperor Uriel Septum VII, and some of his companions along with a few others chosen to be with him, are in a secure, comfortable place.”

Jadelegs frowned. “The Imperial City, of that Alternate Tamriel, is being invaded by demonars and demoninoes, a great army of them.”

The DemiDivine smiled more richly. “My Divine Father, Talos, has a plan to deal with that. Just as the Daedric Princess have lesser daedra serving them, now we Divines will have lesser divines serving us. No more will the Nine Divines rely so heavily on mere mortal followers. Soon the Bladekin of lesser divines, servants of Talos, will lead an army of new enhanced Blades to attack the Imperial City, to conquer it for the Nine Divines, and to destroy the demonic invaders. Emperor Uriel Septum VII will be returned to the Dragonthrone. The Blades that fled here, with the Fake Emperor Uriel Septum VII, will be given an ultimatum; they will either return to serve Talos, and then the True Emperor Uriel Septum VII, or they will be branded as traitors by Talos.”

Then she sighed. “Baurus is not far from here. Poor young mortal fool, he is divided in his loyalties and so is of no use to Talos or the Nine Divines. Talos has compassion for him and would see no harm done to him. Let him join Jauffre and the False Emperor in this land of yours but not return to the Alternate Tamriel that the Nine Divines will firmly take hold of so there will be no future treachery against Talos in that realm.” Then she vanished before Jadelegs could say anything, could voice her many concerns about what was going on and what was planned to happen.

0084(01)084: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: MORE ABOUT BAURUS

Jadelegs found Baurus, sleepy and puzzled, nearby and took him to the Imperial Commonwealth City with her. There they met Jadekin and Jadekia. Jadekin hugged Baurus to herself and then he hugged her back.

Jadelegs smiled at Jadekins and spoke in such a way that Baurus could not hear. “You have always had a thing for stray puppies.”

Jadekin gave Jadelegs a mildly sour look and then kissed Baurus. Then she told them of her meeting with TalosSofia, DemiDivine daughter to Talos. She included the attempt by TalosSofia to pretend to be Baurus. Then she spoke some more. “It is clear that all those that have come through the Waygate, from the Imperial Undercity, will have hard decisions to make whether to stay here or not. This is especially true for the Blades for if they, you, do not return Talos will brand you as traitors. Baurus, as I have already stated, you are trapped here.”

Baurus frowned hard. “I will miss my family, my home city, my people, my empire but I will make the best of what I have got. Where is the False Emperor and Jauffre?”

Empress Jadekia smiled. “Jauffre, and some Blades, are guarding the False Emperor who did no intentional evil and has turned out to be as wise, compassionate and canny as the Real Emperor Uriel Septum VII. He has renamed himself Urick Septum and announced he will not make any attempt to be Emperor though he has, ironically something of the Dragonblood in him though not enough to use the Amulet of Kings. I like him and, if he agrees of course, we will marry and he will be Emperor of the Jadekinarian. We will figure out a new 'dynasty title'.”

Baurus looked shocked. “I am like a child amongst elders.”

Jadekin nodded. “Which is one good reason why you are so valuable. We will try to find a way for you to communicate with your family, or even bring them here. The Tamriel you know is plunging into a terrible war and, I suspect, many more refugees will be coming here. We need to build a Grand Chapel to all of the Nine Divines, including Talos, so that they realize fully that we are not their enemies.”

Baurus nodded. “Yes, and a detachment of Blades will always be there to help protect the Grand Chapel of the Nine.” He sighed and looked guilty. “There is something you need to know about me.”

Jadekin nodded. “Such as that you are a SemiDivine, a child of one or two DemiDivines. Your mother may be TalosSofia herself, which would make you the grandson of the Human Divine Talos. Your father may be Jauffre.”

Baurus snorted. “So much for keeping secrets and big surprises.”

Jadekin smiled at Baurus. “We have been at this sort of thing for many thousands of years. Anyway the three of us could be classed as aspects of the one Human Divine so we 'sense' another of our kind. Guarding the new Grand Chapel of the Nine will be a strong message to the Nine, including Talos, that you do not have divided loyalties and that neither has Jauffre.”

At that moment TalosSofia appeared with a sparkling shimmer. She gave a graceful bow and then spoke. “Very good! Father will insist on testing folks. Perhaps it is the 'Divine' in him since all of the Nine Divines seem to like doing so. Talos gives his support to what you are doing but will continue his plans to do battle against the demons invading the Imperial City. Yet Talos also intends to send many refugees here, many animals, wildfolk and things here for preservation.”

0085(01)085: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: JADEKINARIA GOING ON

Fategame resources were steadily gained and spent. The flow of refugees from the Imperial City ceased but only after hundreds of thousands of people had arrived in Jadekinaria. Many wished to return, one day, to their Alternate Tamriel; just as many wanted to remain in Jadekinaria and to make a new life for themselves. For many had been poor, crippled, sickened from the Red Plague or had other reasons for not doing well back in the Empire; rejuvenation, and a new realm, offered them a much better life.

Empress Jadekia and Emperor Urick became married under the name Dragonkia. They married on the site where the new Chapel of the Nine would soon begin construction. It was a great ceremony followed by festivals through out the Imperial Commonwealth.

Fighting continued in some areas where rebel areas were being crushed. These were not to be confused with official semiautonomous states but with those who had betrayed the Imperial Commonwealth and, for political reasons, had to be conquered. Politics was a grubby business but, thankfully, most of the rebel zones surrendered with out much of a fight. A few were soon to gain the status of semiautonomous states that had to follow the Imperial Commonwealth Constitution in such matters as a total ban on slavery, a total ban on necromancy and a ban on the worship of some of the Daedric Princes while the worship of others had restrictions.

Much work was being done through out the land to make necessary changes. Ashanburg and Mechanicoto were becoming major cities of the Imperial Commonwealth. The Jade Castle Estate continued to be of vital importance. EvaLaketown was quickly growing to become a city, which did not please all of its residents. The Imperial Commonwealth City continued to be a site of much intensive labor. There were problems that had to be dealt with, some squabbling between factions, the hunting down of treacherous criminals and much else happening.

The MentaCollective founded its own MentaCollage open to all and not just its own people. Yet they also ran a MentaCentre with restricted access, that ran dangerous research and research development projects. The MentaCentre was in JadelegsLand (ShaiVaLand) unlike the MentaCollage that was soon being constructed in the Imperial Commonwealth City.

The shaperfolk moved to JadelegsLand (ShaiVaLand) because non shapeshifting folk tended to fear them and because they felt more comfortable being more isolated.

Jadelegs focused on activities in JadelegsLand (ShaiVaLand). Empress Jadekia Dragonkia focused on ruling Jadekinaria, along with her new husband Emperor Urick Dragonkia.

Jadekin was soon focusing on the Fategame again, giving up her position as Imperial Warlord which went to a reluctant Jauffre. Shakira popped up yet again, having been away on business for the Eternal Champion that she would not speak of. Shakira seemed grave and a little distant. She suggested that they do not take Baurus with the until the SemiDivine Blade had done some more training. Baurus would need to learn how to use his rising SemiDivine powers.

They made preparations to set out again to any place that the WhirlaFinder took them to. This did not take long as they already had most of what they needed. What they needed was more information about what was happening. Jadelegs gave them information about what she had found thanks to the explorations of the goblinfolk. They had no idea where the WhirlaFinder would take them or why except that, hopefully, it would be something to do with genuine WhirlaKeys. Baurus was not happy at being left behind and yet he did accept his need for training. He also wanted to help set up the new Blades Force that would be centered in Jadekinaria.
