Maharg67
0046(01)046: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: LEARNING SOME DARK HISTORY Jadekin told Halenkin the truth, as far as she and the other Jadekin Aspects knew it. She spoke of her growing confusion, of the three Alternate Tamriels, of the TransGlobeShaiVa, of the TransDomain of Jadekinaria, of the other Jadekin, of Jadelegs, of Empress JadekinKia, of the WhirlaKeys, of the Fategame with its various aspects that she knew of. Only one of the Baseline WhirlaKeys had been claimed by the FateLords. Somehow the WhirlaKeys were linked with what was happening with all three of the Alternate Tamriels, she 'sensed' it with growing strength but lacked details. Baurus and Shakira were also there, the two Blades, still being disguised. They also listened with much amazement. They were in a stone chamber with metallic pipes running horizontally along one wall. There was no indication what they were for but they gave the impression of being both ancient and of Dwemer design and manufacture. The chamber was used by the Order of Compassion for their own needs, to find rest, to get away from others. Or so was the theory for there were over a dozen orphan children and stray animals in the place. They sat on wooden chairs around a large wooden table. Halenkin shook her head in wonder. “You grew up in the Alternate Tamriel with too many Emperors?” Jadekin obviously focused her thoughts. “I had assumed so but now I am not so sure. Matters are not so clear. For I have memories of a childhood where Emperor Uriel Septum VII was very much alive. There was only the one Emperor and no Empress. The Empire was at peace, at least in Cyrodiil. There was fighting going on in Skyrim because AntiImperial forces were rising there against the Empire. I remember hearing how some of the new wingships were being used in the campaign against the rebel forces.” Jadekin shrugged. “Some claimed that the rebellion was just, that the Emperor had ceased to act with wisdom and compassion, had become brutal and was too close to the Grand Guilds. Yet the Emperor later turned upon the Grand Guilds. One man even claimed that the Emperor had been replaced by a fake; his name was... he was Archmage Hannibal Traven of the Mages Guild. Others supported his claim, such as BladeKnight Jauffre who led the Blades but was also high up in the Order of Talos, the Human Divine of the Nine Divines.” Halenkin nodded. “ I know because I come from that other Tamriel. The Emperor was a fake but he turned upon those who had created him, who had put them there. Some say the real Emperor was executed but that his spirit contacted the False Emperor who was willingly guided by him. The False Emperor became the True Emperor, gained the Dragonblood somehow through some miracle as provided by the Nine Divines, began to wear the Amulet of Kings. In the end he called upon the dragon spirit of Akatosh himself and destroyed many of the enemies of the Empire. In doing so he perished.” “As he lay dying, the False Emperor spoke of a powerful young woman who had created him, who was filled with dark rage, who wished to destroy the Empire out of revenge against something that the real Emperor Uriel VII had done to her people. She had summoned up power magical and spiritual forces, had created strange terrible entities, had drawn many dark powerful followers to her cause and had murdered Emperor Uriel VII with her own hands. Why? Because the Emperor had ordered the mass murder of her people, including of her family. Most of her people escaped but many were killed, including her beloved parents. They were Dragonblood Mageborn. I do not know why the Emperor did what he did. Perhaps he feared they would lay claim to the Dragonthrone and would rip apart the Empire with some kind of uprising or civil war. Perhaps he simply feared their power, which was great and which is still so. Why ever he did so, the act was an unjust one and not greatly wise. The young woman set off a series of tragic events after she had stolen some ancient and powerful artifacts from the FateLords. The artifacts were called WhirlaKeys and she hoped they would lead her to something called the FateWhirla, to even greater power and knowledge; her name was Jadekin.”
Maharg67
0047(01)047: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: MORE STRANGE LEARNING Jadekin leaped to her feet, her chair falling backwards to crash on the floor. She scowled hard at Halenkin. “Who are you to make such a claim against me? I would not carry out such dark crimes!” Halenkin studied her carefully. “No, not now, for you have changed fundamentally. The darkness has been driven out of you. You were killed by the Eternal Champion herself, who thrust a great sword of power through your chest, through year hear that many claimed was black with evil. Yet as you died, something incredibly dark arose out of your body, a smokey black-gray thing that was no mere demonic spirit but a Devil, a demonic god and ruler of demons. It was Devil Zatanfer who is worshiped by the demoninoes and demonars, who leads them, who may have created the first of the demoninoes. As he rose, the Eternal Champion slashed him with the great glowing sword of golden light and wounded him greatly, fragmenting him and driving him back to his own Hell.” Jadekin was obviously shocked. “Was I possessed by the Devil God? Was I willingly or unwillingly possessed?” Halenkin shrugged. “The Devil Spirit lifted out of you as you died, indicating you were not absorbed, that you and it had not merged. Who can say if you were willingly or unwillingly possessed or if the situation was more complicated than that. As you died, your body glowed yellow white and vanished. That was not the fate of a typical dark entity, of the evil one that most assumed you were. Alisari, the Eternal Champion, stated that you were more a victim than a villain but only a very few chose to believe her. That was just over fifty years ago. “In this Alternate Tamriel Jadekin was ambushed and her legs were torn off; she died when attacked by small army of Mythic Dawn Followers with summoned armor, weapons and lesser daedra. Before she was killed, she killed nearly all of the major commanders, and most powerful mages, of the Mythic Dawn and greatly weakened the cult. She wounded Mankar Cameron but he recovered.” “In the other Alternate Tamriel the other Jadekin was killed by Emperor Sirius Sabtur VI himself but before she perished, she blinded him and crippled him, ripping away much of his power in the process. By doing so she weakened his hold on that Tamriel and the Sabtur Empire shrank greatly, being driven back from many territories that they had previously held with ease. It is said that the Empire was at least halved in size and lost not only much power but access to many valuable resources.” Jadekin picked up the chair, put it right way up and sat on it again. Her mind was a turmoil of emotions. She wanted badly to have some focus and yet she feared to face the truth. She needed to concentrate on finding more of the WhirlaKeys and giving them back to the FateLords. “Who are you?” Jadekin asked the Sister Prime of Compassion. “Why do you seem so familiar?” “I am the mother of Jadelegs, as she is now called, but I suppose I am now the mother of all of you now that you have merged.” Halenkin smiled at her 'daughter'. “I do have information of a WhirlaKey. There was one in the Majestico Emporium itself, that is deep inside its collection.” Baurus spoke. “The Empire has seized control of the Majestico Emporium in this Imperial City.” Halenkin shook her head. “No, that is but the front for the Majestico Emporium in this Alternate Tamriel for it exists, as a front, in each of the three Alternate Tamriels and separately elsewhere as its own TransBaseCube. To get the WhirlaKey you must get to the TransBaseCube but the problem is that something has taken it over and has closed out the family except for some who were trapped in it when it was sealed off.”
Maharg67
0048(01)048: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: MORE TALKING WITH HALENKIN The Order of Compassion was active on all three Alternate Tamriels as the same network. They were one of the Orders of Divinity trying to assist peoples of all three realms but also trying to deal with a crisis effecting all three. Halenkin kept speaking as they sat at the table. “These three Alternate Tamriels 'should not' exist and yet they do exist. Jadekin, the use of the WhirlaKeys together created a temporary but appallingly powerful and dangerous link to the FateWhirla. This created in turn the three Alternate Tamriels in a fashion that the Orders of Divinity have yet to truly understand. Many mageborn have joined the cause of the Orders of Divinity including some of the Dragonborn though none as potent as you, Jadekin. We have been trying to find a cure for the very slow, steady disintegration that is taking place with all three Alternate Tamriels. We need your help but many of us fear you, hate you, and distrust you. I know you were never actually guilty, not deep down, but people will claim I am biased because I am your mother; some have already done so.” At which point Jadekin burst into tears. Soon Halenkin was hugging her and comforting her while Baurus looked uncomfortable and concerned. Sharia looked on with a calm smile. Baurus sighed. “Are there are Baseline WhirlaKeys that might be easier to get to? Jadekin could use some easier challenges for now.” Jadekin gently pulled away from her mother, sat up straight and gave Baurus an odd smile. “Baurus, I would normally be offended at your suggestion but now I can only see the wisdom of it. There is one faction that just might know about WhirlaKeys in a more covert manner. The Thieves Guild!” Shakira smiled. “Clever! The Thieves Guild do deal with exotic stolen goods and even if they do not handle them, they gather as much information on them as they can for future plans and for the selling of that information. I have dealt with them a few times.” Jadekin snorted softly. “Since you are an aspect of the Eternal Champion, as Alisari is, that does not surprise me at all.” “Very good, Jadekin, you pass the test but I was not really trying to hide my true nature from you.” Shakira shrugged. “I am a lesser expression of the Eternal Champion with less power and abilities than Alisari herself. She can not assist us directly because she is faced with dealing with another important task though it is linked to your search for the WhirlaKeys and the troubles of the three Alternate Tamriels. Her task is very dangerous. I can not tell you any more than that simply because I only have as much knowledge as need to have to assist you with your task.” Jadekin turned to Halenkin. “We need to send more people to TransDomain Jadekinaria though it is not as safe there as I had first assumed. There are many resources there and those who pass the test, will be rejuvenated.” Halenkin was obviously thoughtful. “Some way to open a safe passage between the two realms! My people can help you.” Jadekin nodded and sighed. “Perhaps but first you have to tell me who, what, you really are and why you are pretending to be my mother.” Shakira smiled. “Now, Jadekin, you have really passed a worthy test.”

Maharg67
0049(01)049: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: THE TRUTH ABOUT HALENKIN AND RELATED TRUTHS Halenkin was quite calm in her response. “We do not mean harm to others. We wish only to survive. We are a unique form of mageborn who are focused on shapechanging, shapeshifting abilities. We know of the Dragonblood Mageborn but only learned of your kind in relatively recent times, only about two thousand years ago. In ancient times we came from a place known as Terra, or the Earth. It was a world like Nirn but with only one moon, called Luna. We still call ourselves Terrans.” Baurus scowled. “Why did you replace our Emperor with a fake?” Halenkin looked surprised. “So you have discovered that, We replaced the Emperor, knowing he was fated to die. We gained the assistance of a mysterious, extremely powerful ally. The real Emperor vanished, taken by that other. Why, we do not know, or where to. We do know that the mysterious other has not contacted us again though it was supposed to do so according to our agreement. The other matter of concern to us is that we have lost contact with the False Emperor. He has begun to carry out the investigations, and reforms, that we wanted him to. We Terrans are behind the Constitutionalist Movement of this Alternate Tamriel, we support Empress Marian Septum on another Alternate Tamriel and we support the FreeAlliance against Emperor Sirius Sabtur VI on that other Alternate Tamriel. The Orders of Divinity are busy in all three Alternates, are linked with all three efforts.” Shakira questioned Halenkin. “Are you trying to make a better, more secure home for yourselves?” Halenkin nodded. “For ourselves and for others. We believe in constitutional democracy, in practical based charity, in the fight for freedom and in equality of different peoples as in different but equal. Yet we are also driven by a long history of struggle to survive for we made an ancient enemy of great power that we call the TwistedGod.” “The TwistedGod is also our most ancient and greatest enemy.” Jadekin responded with an expression of surprise on her face. “Is also known as the DevilGod of devils and demons, as the Forbaden God, as the Devil of Devils, as by many other names. We are of the Imperium of the Skylands, Empire of Empires.” Halenkin nodded. “Your ancient ancestors released the TwistedGod from his-her ancient prison but not intentionally. Once we would have hated you but we have since made some terrible mistakes ourselves. We know what it is like to be hated for something one did not mean to do.” Jadekin shook her head. “Some of us intended it to happen, most of us were fooled into going along and some of us, my ancestors, fought against the idea and were 'dethroned' because of it. Perhaps we could form an alliance of mutual support and one day join to fight the TwistedGod.” Halenkin smiled. “Your people seem to have vanished from all three Alternate Tamriels except for you, Jadekin, who are one that used to be three. I am not your mother but I wish I was. I have copied her in order to infiltrate this particular Empire. My real name is Sashanelin. I am ashamed for lying but I need must serve my people. Yes, I would wish to be your mother.” So Halenkin was Sashanelin. Jadekin sighed deeply. “I would not hate you as I have done far worse in the name of my people, for the cause of their survival. Now I remember that is why I agreed to be possessed, at least one of my aspects. I agreed to do so in exchange for something for my people and the contract was honored.” Edited September 6, 2012 by Maharg67
Maharg67
0050(01)050: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: MORE INFORMATION AND A WAY TO SANCTUARY Not only were her people gone but a few of them had been replaced by Terran shaperfolk, as they called themselves. They were not the only ones whose ancestors had advanced on Terra, were only one of a fair number of factions. The Terran shapeshifters were in smaller numbers in that Alternate Tamriel than they were in others but there were still over a hundred thousand of them there. Before setting out, Jadekin materialized more items, being of the kind as added to the list. That is bigger tents, concentrated antiseptic serum, musical drums, eating utensils, crossbows, bows, ground sheets and much else besides. Sashanelin, still generally known as Halenkin, took charge of the new goods. More refugees were coming in, along with their escorts, and it was all needed. =-=You have done well. You are now gaining 0.5 fategamecredit per second, a big jump forward, along with five fategame-points per 100 seconds, five spinlings per 1,000 seconds and two wishlings every 10,000 seconds. Jadekin=I was a FategamePlayer before but won my freedom and now I am back again. =-=You cheated but did so cleverly that the FategameLords were amused and let you go for a while. Then they took you back as you had really never become truly free of them. Jadekin=That would be right! I spend twenty fategame-points and five wishlings to improve the lot of these people. =-=You need to be more specific! I suggest the opening of a one way Waygate between her and the TransDomain of Jadekinaria. It will test-transform all those that go through it, basically filtering people for security safety reasons. The destination will be at the outskirts of EvaLaketown. The main destination will be a semi-enclosed area but security safety risks will be sent to three special places depending on level of threat they are classified at. Jadekin=Would the use of spinling assist? =-=Yes, with the addition of more random kinds of outcomes being possible. Meaning odd things might happen to those who go through the Waygates, through the Waygateway that links them. I suggest the spending of 20 spinlings. Jadekin=Have it so. Create the Waygate. When the Waygate appeared in a large chamber, both like and unlike those created by the Eight Divines so long ago, Halenkin (Sashanelin) was most pleased, as were many of the others. The demoninoes could not get through, would be hurled back away from the Waygate, as would be other such threats. No security safety network-system was perfect but this was close to it. Even as Jadekin, Baurus and Shakira departed, the first people were going into the Waygate. They took some things with them but left much behind because their were far more resources where they were going to. The resources left behind would soon be used. Jadekin=Donating my 40 hulknoids and 10 simulicants to Jadekin in EvaLaketown. Seems she might be having some trouble there. Jadelegs has done the same. Jadekin, in EvaLaketown, now has 120 hulknoids, and 30 simulicants, assisting her in EvaLaketown. The first rejuvenated refugees have reached there though five have been diverted to the security safe zones. My psychic link with the other Jadekin, and Jadelegs, is always getting stronger. Maharg67
0051(01)051: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: INCREASING TROUBLES AND A QUICK RESOLUTION The other Jadekin observed, with her mindeye, the 120 big, hulking hulknoids disperse around the settlement as 12 platoons, each of 10 entities. The 30 human like simulicants moved to assist in the new complex as Jadekin finished taking over EvaLaketown, taking it away from the control of the Imperial Commonwealth. Why? Because the Imperial Commonwealthers were turning out to be led by an autocratic, corrupt and centralist government that seemed also to have treacherous alliances with various outside factions. Rebels had dared to communicate the truth with her, at last. The Imperial Commonwealth Central Government, ICCG, was based in the stronghold city of Ashanburg to the far north. None were allowed to go near there, let alone to there, with out special permission and the same was true for anybody trying to leave. There were dark whispers of illegal slavery, of evil packs with demons, with massive secret factories creating many warmachines, of secret police, of public terror, of horrific prisons and much else of evil. The ICCG secret police, the ICSP had been spying on Jadekin, and other newcomers, since she had arrived. They spied on all newcomers. They had sent agents to steal the resources that Jadekin had materialized. They Imperial Commonwealth Security Police had been most interested in the concentrated healing serum and gaining as much of it as they could. Jadekin had quickly tired of what was happening and she began to spend more resources, especially as she accumulated fategame resources quicker than did the other aspects of Jadekin. Baseline quasimagical armor and weapons were provided from the new menu of items. There was chainmail, leather and plate armor along with battleaxes, daggers, flails, warhammers, lances, maces, shortswords, longswords, knives and longknives. The daggers and knives were different. All could be quasimagically enhanced and augmented. The locals were soon taking care of that as rebels began to send increasingly more of their people into the settlement. The locals seemed pleased that at last somebody was making some kind of firm move against the ICCG but fearful of what the ICCG would do in response. The rebels had so far failed to make any major strike against the brutal central government and its military and paramilitary forces. The rebels, or freefighters, had been waging guerrilla war against the Imperial Commonwealth Army and the Imperial Commonwealth Police, the later being more a paramilitary force than a true police service. Stories circulated that Empress JadekinKia had begun to make preparations to strike out against the ICCG, after many years of ignoring the problem, when a force field had suddenly isolated the Imperial City and the Imperial Island. The rebels were not sure if the Empress had been betrayed or she had changed her mind and decided to abandon the people while protecting herself, along with her people on the island. Jadekin risked reaching out, mind-to-mind, to Empress JadekinKia but was met with only a quiet mind caught in slow dreaming states of mind. Other minds were there, were also caught, except for some exotic kinds that seemed to be keen on protecting the Empress, the city, the island and its peoples from some kind of dreadful threat. She caught glimpses of terrible demonic humans, demonars who were humans, or other humanoids, fully absorbed by demoninoes. When the refugees arrived from one of the Imperial Undercities, sent by the other Jadekin, she came out of mindeye meditation, sitting cross legged in a small semi-enclosed balcony, and smiled at the damphir girl. Sanchy was clutching a knife, was looking miserable and frightened. The girl seemed certain that Jadekin would strike her down, would hate her, but Jadekin gently removed the knife from her hand and hugged the girl to herself. As Sanchy wept, she rocked the girl in her arms. Edited September 7, 2012 by Maharg67
Maharg67
0052(01)052: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: SANCHY'S STORY, AN IMPORTANT DECISION AND STONE-FLESH STATUES Sanchy, the damphir, had been told that Jadekin was a great monster who unleashed a terrible curse upon Tamriel. Her parents had told her this, they being mortals, and blaming her 'nature' on the curse. Sanchy had only later learned that her mother had been seduced by a vampire man just turned into a vampire, still fertile and able to father children. Vampires did this to create special live born vampires but sometimes the results were not as they desired. It was easier for her villager mother to blame the awful 'Jadekin' than to admit she was seduced. Then the dark voice had begun to whisper in Sanchy's mind over the last couple of weeks. Sanchy walked, hand in hand with Jadekin, through the big house in EvaLaketown even as shooting broke out at the outskirts along with the sounds of magic being used. The Imperial Commonwealth Police were attacking with a large force of Policetroopers but they had underestimated the defensive capacity, and the will to fight, of the defenders. Over a hundred hybrid-electric armored cars and trucks had come along a dirt highway only to be ambushed before they reached the town proper. Why the attack? Because the ICCG wanted the source of concentrated healing serum, they wanted to control Jadekin herself. It was an insane plan but did not surprise the locals because o fit. They spoke of such decisions, of the Imperial Commonwealth Presidium, being often quite bizarre. A tall, broad shouldered man strode across the chamber to confront Jadekin. He took one look at Sanchy and visibly dismissed her as being unimportant. He wore the gray-green splashwork fatigues of the Free Strength Cadre, being one of the factions of the FreeAlliance. The faction had the reputation of being brutal, militaristic and arrogant but all that was focused on the man before her, one Marshal Harrista Strongth. His skin was orange-brown but he had little in common with the ways of most of his people. He stopped with a stomping of his boots, opened his mouth, pointed his finger at Jadekin and froze motionless. With a shimmering effect, he turned into a stone like, stone-flesh, statue including his gear. Even his big revolver pistols were so changed. Sanchy looked surprised and spoke to Jadekin. “What did you do to the big stupid man?” “Turned him to stone-flesh for daring to intrude into my home with out permission, for daring to confront me and for daring to make most aggressive demands. I 'saw' what he planned to say even before he got to say it.” Jadekin clicked her fingers of her free hand and the stone-flesh statue vanished with a sparkling shimmer. “He will spend some time in the Flower Park with the others who have dared be so foolish.” Sanchy looked more surprised. “There are others?” “A local politician who demanded bribes if we were to stay here, a local merchant who tried to pressure me into selling materialized goods for profits that the fool could share in, three assassins and two strange white shirted men on bicycles trying to convert me to some odd religion.” Jadekin smiled. “I let the bicycle riders go fairly quickly though I was tempted to keep the annoying fools in the Flower Park for a very long time.” Sanchy sighed. “Then why did you not turn me into stone-flesh?” “Because I knew you were unable to do me harm, because I love you and because I want to me your mum and I could not be your mum if you were stone-flesh.” Jadekin shook her head. “At least it would not be very good. I could not tell you stories, get annoyed at you when you fail to do your chores, hug and kiss you, give you your allowance or anything like that.” Sanchy nodded. “Then it was a very wise decision! Perhaps you owe me lots of unpaid allowance.”

Maharg67
0053(01)053: Of JADEKIN OF THE MAGEBORN: SOME BUSINESS IS DONE, NEWS GAINED Jadekin, Baurus and Shakira entered a safer part of the Imperial Undercity, more 'civilized' and protected by imperial soldiers of various kinds along with mercenaries. The Empire was responding to the crisis in the Imperial Undercity by at first securing some areas and then would send out forces into other areas. They were moving through an area of shops when a tiny sensation passed through everybody and everything. Most did not even notice it but both Jadekin and Shakira more than did so; both were greatly concerned by what had taken place. They passed an area of wall splashed with Constitutionalist graffiti of political slogans and basic statements of support for the Imperial Investigations and Reforms that had begun to take place. Word was that there were new investigations being launched directly into the Grand Guilds but also against the Mythic Dawn traitors. Jadekin spoke to a beggar, gave the woman a gold coin and asked to see an important member of the Thieves Guild. There was something about Jadekin, and the gold coin, that got the beggar woman speaking the truth at once. She pointed out where Jadekin could find a man called Armand Cristophe in the Imperial Harborside, sometimes known as the Imperial Waterfront. Sometimes he could also be found in the Imperial Undercity close to the Imperial Waterfront. Jadekin returned to her Harborside house and the three of them had a meal. Baurus was puzzled that they did not go out seeking Armand Cristophe but they simply asked him to be patient. The first visitor was not him, or from the Thieves Guild, but was a Sister Compassionate finding out if she could use the house to stay in, along with some others of her kind. These were a mixture of Terran shaperfolk and others. Jadekin gave over the whole cottage, including basement, for it had ceased to be of use to her. Jadelegs was gone to the TransGlobeShaiVa along with many she had taken with her. Jadekin would always be welcome there, as would be Shakira but they were more wary when it came to offering Baurus the same deal. Jadekin learned that the Terran shaperfolk had nothing to do with her abduction from the Majestico Emporium or the three robed figures who had tried to interrogate her, who had been frightened of her for reasons still unknown to her. Blades came next, speaking to Baurus and Shakira away from Jadekin as if wary of her. There was a major change taking place in the Blades. The force was becoming part BladeKnights, the Order of the Knights Blader, BladeGuards as Legionaries, BladeMages as battlemages, BladeAgents specializing in being undercover agents and others emerging. The Blades force was expanding to the size of a regular Imperial Legion, which was very large. Other forces were changing also. The 1st Legion was going to be always based outside of the Imperial City but on the Imperial Island proper. The 2nd to 4th Legions would guard Cyrodiil itself and the other nine Legions would be out in different Provinces except for the infamous 13th Legion of the punishment brigades. The 13th Legion was not a regular Legion. The changes would take time. Until then a special set of forces were being quickly created to deal more directly with the demonic outbreaks. It was whispered that the 13th Legion would be sending punishment brigades to some of the 'demonic hot spots'. Neither Jadekin or Shakira considered this to be a wise idea. The soldiers of such punishment brigades were too often the kinds of people that would be attracted to be willingly possessed by the demoninoes. It was like offering the demonic spirits valuable resources instead of sending against them real threats to their existence.
