sintesse
-->My system specs :-Intel® Core 2 CPU-2Gb RAM-Windows 7 - 32 bit-GeForce GTX 690 1)Skyrim never crushed in main menu or during the bethesda logo presentation, only in game, some time after i finish loading (2 minutes at best).2)I have deleted all mods, yet nothing changed with or without mods.3)Also,changing to 24 bit 44100 Hz quality sound didn't change anything.4)Reinstalling the game didn't work either (tried 2 times).5)I have fully updated drivers. ->On a specific note about when i create a new character, until now Skyrim only CTD at the point where the soldiers load you off the cart (just before the character creation).Might be just luck, but i'm reporting it anyway. When i load an already existing character (created from other pc) the timing on crashes varies from some seconds to 2 minutes at maximum. Thanks for help, even if you can't provide any solution, i'm getting hopeless anyway. Edited August 21, 2012 by sintesse
redeyesandlonghair
The latest update seems to be wonky. It broke a bunch of my mods and turned the opening scene of the game into a crapshoot of will-it-crash-or-won't-it

It broke a bunch of my mods and turned the opening scene of the game into a crapshoot of will-it-crash-or-won't-itProblem is that it doesn't happen only in the opening screen,it happens on every single character that i try to play. taitai907
Right click on your TESV.exe, go to previous versions then extract the 1.6 TESV.exe. I did that and it allowed me to play without issues. It also works fine with Dawnguard.

It also works fine with Dawnguard. I have a similar issue, as posted in another thread Here, and this is one of the options I've thought of trying. However, while checking for previous versions there are none listed. Where would I be able to find them? I've had skyrim since 1.5 I believe, maybe sooner. Just as sintesse stated, I'm at my wits end as well. I feel google rolling it's eyes at me when I start typing "C++ Error Skyrim". LOL

LOLI'm assuming that after you installed, it updated directly to 1.7, not incrementally. If that's the case, give me your email and I'll send you a copy of mine. I can't post it here because it violates the terms of service.

That's probably the case, since I did do the reinstall very recently. I sent you my email via PM, And thanks again for your effort. :)
sintesse
I can't seem to find any 1.6 version in the previous versions tab.
Reavon
I can't seem to find any 1.6 version in the previous versions tab. I can forward you the email taitai907 sent me if you want to PM me your email. Just an FYI, a few other things I did prior to the older exe. Scanned for all virus/spyware/malware (I used malwarebytes, ccleaner, Kaspersky. Yes, all three)Verified the exe was running in Administrator mode (mine wasn't)selected "windows 7" in compatability mode. (prob didn't need to, but couldn't hurt)Replaced the exe. I played last night without one crash.
