When ever I try to get Nexus to download a mod my MO throws an error saying it can not path the download to it. I'm trying to get Skyrim SE mods. Here is what MO says.

Good catch.

Relevant line is: "We are giving notice that the old system will be switched off 3 months from today (Monday, 13th May 2019)."

Make sure the mod manager you are using has been updated for this change.

Wish I could pin this one.

All First Responders need to be aware of the API change that just happened.

A lot of folks running old builds of other mod organizers are going to hit it. Then they hit us.

From your description, we can not tell what mod manager you are using and what version it is.

Start here:

https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7332636-how-to-post-request-support-for-vortex/

Make sure the mod manager you are using is registered for nxm files. Check settings.

The file not found errors sound like a server hiccup. Try it again...

(Nexus Help) To look up which version you are using: click on the three dots in the top right corner and select "About".

I'm not sure which version of MO I have but there isn't any three dots in the top right corner on its interface.

just a question, when you say MO do you mean Mod Organizer?

If so, then I don't know why you're posting in the Vortex support forums.

I can not find the Mod Organizer support forums, I thought MO2 was renamed Vortex.

I have since downloaded Vortex and it will not deploy mods that I have directed to it. I get an Error, Requesting URL "https://nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6656 failed with status "404 Not Found".

This code is usually caused by an invalid request, maybe you followed a link that has expired or you lack permission to access it.

The fricking mod is Amazing Follower Tweaks SE, I doubt the link is expired and it's a Nexus mod why would I lack permission to access it?

MO2 was not renamed. NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) was replaced by Vortex. MO2 is an independent mod manager that is not affiliated with the Nexus and as such does not have its own forums. For suppirt you have to go to MO2s download page.

the good Doctor is right.

I'm sorry my friend, but we cannot help you as you are using an entirely different mod manager.

You need to go to the MO or MO2 support forums, wherever they may be and ask about your issues there. This forum is for Vortex which is developed and supported by NexusMods. As far as I know MO and MO2 are entirely outside of NexusMods control.

Okay, just got Vortex and it didn't like me hand feeding it addresses from Nexus's mod pages or I'm doing something wrong. As an example https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5673?tab=files
