stabbykitteh
Edit: haha Flummox, touche! The ninja payback!  As an aside, personally got a lot better performance by extracting the Official BSAs, dumping them in my Data folder, installing the Optimized version over that and going from there. I'm not sure why, but my game runs much better when it's not pulling those textures from the BSAs.
Georgiegril
Well it appears the OP doesn't like any of our advice, since he just posted the same question on the Mod Troubleshooting Thread.
Brandy1123
The "iPreloadSizeLimit" is the ammount of memory the game sets aside to render the cells you want loaded. Its recommended maximum is 262144000. As GeorgieGril has stated that you can have a higher setting, and it can use it, but some instability can happen. It is just a recommended setting, like the ugrids set below 7. Some people run 9, but if your system and game load is already distressed, you are looking at disaster for your game experience. GeorgieGril is absolutely correct :) Flummox explained it , on how to disable your textures and BSA load them. My only change is with your present load, if you start adding more, the only fix you will have left is a complete reload. I believe you are reaching your systems maximum add ons. You have several large mods and even more with scripted and levelled changes. Skyrim is a delicate flower. If you change too many pedals and rub off all the pollen, it stops smelling aromatic and starts to rot. Remember BOSS and BASH are just guides and are not definitive. Sometimes you do have to tweek a load order manually to get things to work. Good luck and I hope all this works for you EDIT - @ GeorgieGril - I keep trying to help out, like a lot of us here, but sometimes you wonder why we keep coming back here day after day. How many times have we repeated it all over and again. I love to help people but sometimes you wish you could just walk away. I do hope this person finds the help they seek... over there
kibuza
Actually, I am appreciating the help you guys are offering. Very much so in fact. I posted the question on Mod Support before these last tips you guys have given me and also right before I went to bed. It's not meant as disrespect, I just figure I will solve the problem quicker if I ask a larger audience.
gamefever
Shucks I am having the problem of LOD Buildings not loading from far away. "See that ruin over there that's Blwak Falls Barrow. I can hardly believe my sister can live in such a place." ME "Uhh nope no I don't see a big freaky tomb thingy up on that cliff." Also Dragons Reach is gone I love being able to see that in the distance. I've tried that Ugrids 7 and well I have too many npcs in my game to sport that. Seroiusly my FPS is at 50-60 and reletivey stable with ASIS and DD no high res texture packs enabled and lets see Resolution set at 1600 letterbox. I've got no ideas what could be causing this. But ever since I ticked that little LOD box useing the Tweak Guide I havnt been able to turn it back on. HajmeR
Do you have "A Quality World Map" mod installed? I had the same problem as you. After spending A LOT of time trying to figure out what causes this, I've found that Classic Map option from this mod was a problem. I don't know why, but I'm sure of it. I've tested it few times to be sure on 100%. When installing Classic Map something happens that you can't see distant buildings. But when installing any other option (not sure if all works, tested only HiRes with all roads and clear map add-on, so most edited one) everything is fine. Maybe you can see those landmark buildings from distance because they are loaded in map. And when using Classic Map the building are not showed there so you can't see them. I don't know. Hope it helps.
gamefever
Hey HajmeR Yes I found out that it was the Quality World Map Mod or rather the sub mod classic map that caused the issue. PS I wound up finding that out by dragging various likely culprits out of my Data\Textures folder. I'm not sure why it took me so long to narrow that down but I finally got tired of stuff missing.I wish you were around to answer that a while ago haha
rogerpenna
AGH!! If I had found this thread earlier. A few weeks ago I posted about the same problem at Bethsoft Forums. I uninstalled every damn mod I had (but not the map mod, never thought it would affect the world). Everyone gave up on the issue. I did a fresh install and started re-installing my mods. To my surprise, as soon as I installed the High Quality World Map classic version I got the same problem with tan squares at distant mountains AND the very low LOD distance... People must be warned of this problem. Its TERRIBLE. Edited February 22, 2013 by rogerpenna
