Amjack1234
Hey guys. I need help with modding my CD version of Morrowind. Every time I try to copy the Morrowind Code Patch and other mods, the CD is ejected with a message on my file explorer saying Please insert a writable disk into drive f. PS: I have a legal version of the original from 2002. My disk drive does work because it launches the game but none of the mods can write onto it. HeyYou
You don't put the mods on the CD, they go in the data folder where the game is installed on your harddrive.
M48A5
CD-ROM. Stands for "Compact Disc Read-Only Memory." A CD-ROM is a CD that can be read by a computer with an optical drive. The "ROM" part of the term means the data on the disc is "read-only," or cannot be altered or erased. As HeyYou posted, you add the mods to the Data folder. That is if the game is not installed in "Program Files" where the Windows User Access Control prevents any changes to any file.
