Addicted to speed . . .

Hey all, I'm curious what you do to improve your gameplay or spice the game.

I do a couple things that others probably do as well:

Addicted to Speed (actually, vitamin S Fortified Speed): B)

My number one, hence the topic title.

I can't stand how slow my guy moves outside and in the sewers (especially, after I played around with 2000 Speed, one day). So, I brewed up a huge batch of speed potions and use them to keep my speed around 400-600 (anything faster makes fighting and indoor navigating a pain).

Feather:

My weakling mage, can barely carry 500 pounds (I have the Fists of Randagulf), and I can't seem to get my normal weight under about 390 (even with glass armor and weapons). So I go through feather potions like a bad habit, whenever I'm exploring a new area.

Guild guides:

Perhaps the HUGEST convenience in the whole game (esp., when used with Intervention and Recall). Without them, I would have taken forever to finish the game. Plus, they are sooooo cheap! Thankfully, they're better at magic than economics.

Invisibility:

It took me a while, but I finally got ring of permanent invisibility. This little guy made Red Mountain so much easier. I'm sure there's still a few cliff racers up there wondering why the rocks were laughing at them. :D

I still use it occasionally when I want to get somewhere uninterrupted (saves me from all those annoying High Ordinators and Royal Guards, with their copycat sayings).

Vivec:

More specifically, the Mages Guild in Vivec. I store all my extra stuff in a room there, and totally ignore my middle-of-nowhere stronghold. The guild guides, make it a really convenient place, and the Tribunal expansion makes it even more convenient. Need to unload some stuff or grab some more potions? Simply Recall to my room, do my thing, then Divine Intervention to Ebonheart, and within seconds I'm back over in Mournhold. And it's still handy should I decide to work on some of the unfinished original quests.

Dwemer artifacts:

I've been collecting some of the Dwemer artifacts (tubes, cogs, coherers, housewares) and making a display out of them up on my dresser (too bad I can't rotate the cogs vertically, then I could make the setup look like a small carriage).

Superman or the Incredible Hulk:

Occasionally, when I'm bored of the normal stuff, I'll shoot up with a ton of speed, agility, and strength juice and run around annihilating everyone with my bare hands.

Well, that turned out to be longer than I intended. I look forward to reading about your experiences and habits. :)

Have fun. B)

I was addicted to sujammas. The most I have drank is 600. My strength went up 50 points with every drink. So my strength was at 30000 and my intelligence was 0. But im clean now. I use real strength. B)

Also I am currently addicted to sneaking up behind someone then hitting them. The critical hit noise is so cool. And if they fall down on their hands and knees. Then I go through this little finisher ritual I made up.

But my biggest addiction is drowning people. I have them fight me underwater. And they eventually drown. It is awesome the way their lifeless body floats up to the top. That blank stare on the face. Their weapon still pointed at you.

I think I may have a mental problem.

He he he, pillows :D

They have a funny little thing about pillows and why there's so many, in one of the Tribunal quests. ;)

Lol, yeah, drownings are funny. So was watching Dagoth Ur chase me off the ramp and into the lava pit, just before I cast levitation. Sucker. :P

I agree drownings ARE hilarious!

I have a funny little ritual of eating the heart of a daedra everytime I kill one.

I don't just eat any heart I find just lying around though, yech! You never know where it's been! They have to be fresh. :P

Yeah that's sort of why I do it, (not because I'm a wannabe Klingon) but it's like a victory ritual over a defeated and supposedly superior opponent.

Especially after I kill a Daedroth, that's the only daedra I'm wary of now. B)
