mofailed999
So I've been oldrim gaming for years & I've noticed in random comments people declaring that they have up to 500 mods running. This is mind boggling to me. I have currently just over 200 mods. So whyyyyyyyyy don't people share massively merged .esps for beginners so that they can just dive into a massively modded game? Would it not be a popular method for gamers to just dive into a heavily modded game with all them merged goodies right from the start of a new game? Again, why not? Can somebody explain this? A few merged .esps with hundreds of mods installed would be awesome! It would be so great for casual gamer types no?
HadToRegister
Because they would have to get permission from the original mod authors to distribute itBecause you have to download ALL of the mods that are merged into the mod for the resources You would have to know which resources were added/deleted (meshes and textures) or renamed, or edited in order to make the merged mod work etcIt's not as simple as just merging 500 esps and letting someone else download it and they're up and running.
