DasGriffinMastah
As I've now switched over to Vortex to try it out, I imported my mods and categories from NMM, expecting them all to be categorized just like previously. They were not. I have the categories but not how the mods were categorized. As far as I can tell, there's no way to automatically use Nexus Mods' site's categories to determine what area the mods in Vortex go under, and as a result they're all just default Fallout 4 mods. Considering the amount of mods I have, It's going to be a massive pain doing it manually. Am I missing the button to use the website's own tags/categories to automatically sort the categories in Vortex, or is it not currently a feature as it is in NMM?My apologies if this is just me being blind and unable to see it. Pickysaurus
Your categories are imported from NMM, which means any custom categories will be created. If it helps, you can do batch actions in Vortex by holding Ctrl and clicking each mod. You can then use the "Guess ID" feature to pull any missing data from Nexus Mods and change the category for all the selected mods at the same time via the side menu. I'm not sure how I missed that, but thank you so much. I was dreading manually setting all these categories. Thank you so much.
