Some mods work, some don't.

Lately I've been constant issues with Vortex. More and more mods that I install or try to re-install just don't show up in my game afterwards. I've tried running Vortex in admin mode despite the warning I got the first time.

Usually running it in admin mode works, but other times it just doesn't.

I've been trying to fix my Pip-Pad because it kept appearing on my wrist as if it was trying to become a pip boy. But now that I've uninstalled it, I cannot get it to work anymore on Fallout 4. When I try to open the MCM tab for the pip pad it says that "Pippad.esp is missing" despite the fact that I downloaded it. I redownloaded it a few times as well.

I am not a modder. I'm just a gamer. So I have no idea what problem I might have.

reads to me like you've not installed them correctly. what you've done and how you've done it is another story, but bottom line, it reads like you've not followed the correct instruction.

I don't know how Vortex works, but to be sure that things are working or not, you should try:

○ Uninstall and delete the mod from the manager completely. Close it, restart computer. Download the mod again, install again. NMM was plagued with download/install issues and, well, who knows if any of this is happening with Vortex too.

○ Start a new game and see if the game works then.

○ If stuff doesn't work in a new or old game, even after doing what i said in the first ○, then you might want to disable everything and test a game with only a few mods for it to work, and see if it works (MCM and this mod).

○ If it doesn't work... well, there's something wrong with either your manager, your installation or everything together.

Remember that problems can be things we don't expect, like corrupted files or files not installed properly, conflicts between mods or conflict in load order, corrupt main game (sometimes it is worthy to delete inis in My games/Fallout4, check the files with Steam and open the launcher without F4SE. Then, run BethIni or keep a backup of your old inis to add any important change you made before).

If I have mods on Vortex that work, while I have others that won't work when I install them via Vortex while they're the same catagory, how could I mess up installation?

thats a question only you can answer.
