That mod is NOT compatible with Dawnguard + STEP. If it's not only compatible with Dawnguard, I do not know. Coolipy Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) I've also got this sucky problem, I've loaded a game that's just left the tutorial cave, and arrived in Riverwood. Then I gave myself the VL power via console, and still the same problem.I've tried the Unofficial DG patch and still no change, except the sound of transformation is in sync with the animation. rarkai Posted August 4, 2013 Share Posted August 4, 2013 I had this bug and disabled stuff left and right. Turned out to be that it was the Alternate Start addon. Seems it has some vampire related scripts that screw with dawnguard. Can't imagine why it has vampire scripts, but disabling it fixed my Vampire lord problem where nothing else did. angel809 Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 (edited) ok i think i found the answer u guys were looking for.1.disable all ur mods(only mods)2.go to ur save and start it den make a new save but wit no mods.(Dont delete ur bad save) 3.reload ur new save in try to transform to a vampire lord.4.you going to transform fast like you use to.5.ok know you have to find the mods causing the problem.6.i have a lot of mods so i enable top half of my mods and start the bad save the one dat dont let u transform fast and made a new save.7.wen i reloaded the new save i found out that the top half was not the problem.8.Keep doing 6 and 7 until you find the mod with the problem with out erasing your other mods.9.psikoticsnecromany Mod was causing my problem and it also make it so wen u wait it take a long time and to save take a long time.check to c if that the mod causing the problem.10.if not keep looking by using the 6 and 7.HOPE THIS HELP MY MOD FAMILY.Angel mercedes Edited August 21, 2013 by angel809 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Evravon86 Posted September 3, 2013 Share Posted September 3, 2013 I was having this bug, and after testing many many things, I figured out how to fix it.I was using the "Undeath" mod. It gave me a quest to head north of Winterhold, and, as you know, that area is full of icebergs and steep drops. I remembered buying a spell from the mod "Phenderix's Magic Evolved" called "Holy - Featherfall". I used it and something weird happened. I got two messages at the same time. "Feather Fall activated" and then immediately after that, "Feather Fall disabled". Not wanting to jump and die, I cast it again. I jumped off the cliff, fell to the bottom, and took no damage at all. Then I entered a battle and tried transforming into a VL, but nothing happened. I tried disabling mods, restarting, reading forum posts, then finally I started testing other abilities. About 40% of my other powers weren't working either.I got to the point where I gave up and decided that maybe this quest was what was causing it, so I went and completed my quest. However, during the fight, I noticed something strange: I wasn't being hurt. Three enemies were all hitting me with sword and spell alike, but my character was not taking any damage at all, nor was I reacting to being hit. I was able to hurt them, though, so that got me thinking. I used the tgm and tim console commands, and they were both already turned off, so it wasn't that.In the end, I zoomed out of myself, targetted myself in the console, and typed "resurrect". Scruffypuppy69 Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 If anyone still can't get this glitch to work then, i found a simple console command that worked for me and i've cluttered my mod manager with a stupid amount of mods to be able to reorganize that will be a pain, after getting the spell from harken i couldnt transform and i assumed it was something to do with my hunger mods but that didnt work either, however this simple command worked for me. : set dlc1vampirelorddisallow to 0: and straight away this let me transformed into the vampire without fail (recommend going to a previous load then entering command) Hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
