leinadisthegreat
Ok, guys. We all know we've come across this issue before but nobody is proactively doing much about it. Sure, some modders out there are talented and nice enough to add their own voice overs to a new NPC in a mod they created, but this is not always the case. You download a mod, it's got great content, the modder put in all this hard work into a new environment and quests, but the NPCs are all mutes. I want to help change that.I figured since I'm new to the skyrimnexus and all I do is download mods all the time, the least I could do is help out any way I can. I have no idea how to mod, but I am a professional producer and songwriter, as well as vocalist. I am also an actor in training, and I have an entire top of the line studio for recording quality audio takes for NPC vocals. I can do different voices and accents, and with the power of Pro Tools I can make my voice change to different timbres, so it can sound like different people, male or female. I can also make music scores to add ambiance to a new environment you made, so the music is entirely new and original instead of some file you found online.I'll be happy to do this all for free, and want nothing more than to help. If any modders out there are looking for someone to make some voices for your NPCs, please let me know! Send me the dialog, we can share notes on the process or whatever works for you. I just want these badass mods to have some voices!
gasti89
Hey there, i used to do quest/storyline modding, but due to team problems, some lazy people and RL stuff, i got a bit tired of spending hours and hours for nothing. But now, when i've read "professional vocalist and songwriter" an idea came up to my mind. I'm a guitarist and my idea is to make new songs for the Skyrim's Bards. PM me if you're interested (be aware that i'm totally unable to write songs ;))
Esteris
Hey, let me give you some links. First, there's a TES VAP (make an archive, browse the requests at your leisure): http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/forum/74-voice-actors-project/ Then you have Beth official forums on which many modders post, it wouldn't hurt to ask some if they need a voice-over: http://forums.bethsoft.com/forum/183-skyrim-mods/ Then there's an ever-living mod (but usually looking for females more) that tends to need voice actors a lot: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/8429 And a word of advice/experience: posting a thread such as this one on Nexus will not yield too many results as it will simply get buried quickly :)
AnkhAscendant
I haven't done anything with NPCs to need voices, but I still think this is a pretty angelic post.

While my mod isn't finished yet, I might need some voice actor for a lot of different voices, small lines though, I will keep you in mind when I get there :). Mujuro
I'm working an update to Cerwiden and could definitely use additional voice acting support if you're interested; I've got both small parts and larger parts that need voicing. :)

Trinxeria
I am a voice actress and graphic artist. My equipment is not as top-of-the-line as some, but it is still professional-quality. My other modding skills are sadly lacking, and I, too, would like to contribute. I am a female, and I can act almost any accent in English within a range of female and tenor voices. I have excellent pronunciation in Spanish, French, and Japanese as well. I am happy to collaborate with other actors, artists, and musicians if just one of us can't provide what you're looking for. I quite enjoy collaborating and getting to know my contemporaries. Even with different accents and editing to mix things up, I find the mods with multiple voice actors are more realistic and believable. Maybe it's just years of working closely with voices. I'm a huge fan of immersive, lore-friendly mods as well as new worlds. Anything with plenty of new RP potential is excellent. Of course, I'm happy to do various smaller mods as well, especially for those learning to mod. The great modders would never have become great if they didn't start somewhere. Besides, anything with voice acting and little to no RP potential isn't going to be a huge project. I prefer to be contacted via email at [email protected]. I don't check my messages on here nearly often enough. Most of my time on the computer is spent so focused on editing a texture just so that I forget to eat, nevermind check any messages that don't pop up and interrupt me. You can be polite and ask me to help you, or just send me a script and a description of what you want and I'll either send you some files soon or apologize for being unavailable at the moment. Usually, I'm not too busy. Just make sure you put something about modding or voice acting in the subject so I know it's not spam. I do NOT do "adult" voiceovers. Blood and guts and evil to give you nightmares, yes. Sex, no. I know a lot of those mods are popular, but I'll stick with role-playing, thanks. --Ari
