HadToRegister
When you switched to Premium, did you log out, and back in, and start NEW downloads, or did you try to continue a download that was already in progress?Because any downloads you started before you switched to premium will still be capped until you stop and restart them

anjenthedog
I haven't actually metered my download speed for nexus mods, but at least experientially, IMO they're generally snappy. Maybe not instantaneous, but snappy nonetheless. For example, Due to things I've read from others complaining about "why are mod authors deleting their content" (implying that some mod that might have been cool has been removed from iuse unless you're already in possession) type posts here and there, I tend to download the entirety of interesting mods for archive, so I can ensure I have them on-hand if I want to install them later, or if I uninstall something and want to reinstall later, or whatever (I'm a bit of a file hoarder anyway...I have an extensive archive of files dating back to the mid 1980s...) So... point being, I manually downloaded some follower mod last night, totaling slightly under 400Mb (including all the example photos and a half dozen or so individual files for various bodyslide types). It was all done and safely tucked into its archive folder in a few minutes (definitely under 5 minutes, probably close to 3) FWIW...

Oh, did you change your download server preference in your profile? Yep, already done that. I talked with one of the staff on the nexus discord and none of the things they suggested helped either. I guess I'll just have to stick with that cap :/
