Would you return to Cyrodiil?

So recently I just thought of a brand new idea. I'm just wondering that if you had the chance to, would you return to Cyrodill? I am considering taking on the challenge of recreating Cyrodiil.

This will probably be extremely difficult to make, but I'm hoping that perhaps other people would be willing to help me. Anyone who helps will definitely be given credit in the read-me of the mod. As of now, I'm just curious as to who would download this mod.

Thanks!!

Oh.. someone's already doing this...

I would. However, it's worth taking a look at the Travel to Cyrodiil forums before you try to take on a massive undertaking like this by yourself. My understanding is that they have a dedicated team working on making this dream a reality.

Not necessarily a bad thing - it means that you don't have to make a go of it on your own. I'm sure they'll appreciate any help you can offer. :)

Perhaps I'll check in with them and see if they even want my help. Thank you for telling me about this. :)

I would travel to any land that came out as an official dlc. As for a mod, no. People may criticize Bethesda for glitches and bugs, but overall, the quality of the game can only be matched with thousands of dollars worth of expert labor. Many modders might have the talent, but they just don't have the resources that the corporations have.

While I take on board what you are saying, I think you are overlooking one very important factor that modders have over corporations: Time. Bethesda had to work to a very strict timescale with regard to design and implementation which means that a lot of ideas would have been put aside due to the extra time they would take to accomplish. Modders have no restrictions but that which they may place upon themselves. Time can make all the difference.
