Kraeten
Absolutely I would return, although I'd probably be a bit nervous to see how it'd aged since the Great War. Oblivion was my introduction to the Elder Scrolls series, and really I only have fond memories of that game. I only wish Bethesda had dedicated an afternoon (really how long would it take?!) to include xbox 360 controller support. Fans and modders have tried using additional software to make such a thing possible, but their efforts come up rather short I'm afraid.
SFBryan18
I would travel to any land that came out as an official dlc. As for a mod, no. People may criticize Bethesda for glitches and bugs, but overall, the quality of the game can only be matched with thousands of dollars worth of expert labor. Many modders might have the talent, but they just don't have the resources that the corporations have. While I take on board what you are saying, I think you are overlooking one very important factor that modders have over corporations: Time. Bethesda had to work to a very strict timescale with regard to design and implementation which means that a lot of ideas would have been put aside due to the extra time they would take to accomplish. Modders have no restrictions but that which they may place upon themselves. Time can make all the difference. This is why I love mods. I trust the rich corporation to add the bulk of detail, and then the modders to clean it up. Win.
