MidbossVyers
If I'm playing a Breton girl with Forsworn sympathies, which side of the Civil War should she join, at least until Forsworn faction mods come out? Ulfric caused the Markarth Incident, but the Empire either approved of it or at least ignored it...
Oubliette
There's a fourth option. Since quest mods are few and far between and it's rare for you to get exactly what you want by waiting, you could always try and make a Foresworm faction mod yourself. It'd be a lot of time, effort and hard work but it is an option
SFBryan18
I think they would stay out of the war unless they wanted to infiltrate either sides ranks. As far as the Forsworn getting a civil war mod... I've looked at the quest scripts for the civil war, and that kind of mod is just way too complicated. fraquar
I'd tend to think that the Forsworn might support the 'Cloaks, at least until they wrestled Markarth from the Imperials. At that point they then take matters into their own hands control Markarth for themselves - 'Cloaks be damned. i.e. serve the side that serves their immediate best interests - then break ties. Afterall, neither side ('Cloaks or Imperials) can afford to fight a war on 2 fronts. Problem is, that isn't modeled in the game - but I'd have to figure that would be the way the Forsworn would think.
luzburg
The Stormcloaks probably wouldn't take the forsworn's help. The empire couldn't promise them Markarth because their loyal Nords would turn. I'd say ignore the civil war altogether, its crap and finishing it gives no real resolution anyway. MidbossVyers
Well, who do you go with during the intro?
SFBryan18
A Foresworn would probably follow Ralof because the Empire did just try to execute you. That reason might be enough for anyone to not care about politics and fight the entire war in a rage of vengence against the Empire. And when he was finished with them, then he'd use his acquired influence in the Stormcloaks to betray them and murder Ulfric as another act of vengence. Perhaps the mod you need would be called... 'Defeat the Empire, and then kill Ulfric'.
StayFrosty05
I would agree a Forsworn prisoner would follow Ralof over Hadvar...though I think many people would given the fact that the Imperials just tried to kill you and Hadvar continues to refer to you as a Prisoner....for all intent and purpose he really just seems to be doing his duty in keeping a Prisoner safe until such a time that the Prisoner can be formerly executed as deemed proper process. I always have my Dovahkins follow Ralof in Helgen for this very reason....why would they meekly follow an Imperial Soldier....under guard?....But they later side with the Imperials if I choose to run the Civil War Quest.....Following one or the other of the two in Helgen does not designate your final allegiance. As for the Forsworn I really couldn't imagine them siding with either the Imperials or the Stormcloaks...their a different and impassioned people with an outlook which is just in too much current conflict with both sides...I believe the Forsworn would just keep going their own way. Have you seen this mod? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12436 I don't know how many quests there are for it, but I think it allows the player to join the Forsworn faction (or something along those lines), so you can at the very least roleplay you are working for them. kalamadae
I play for the Stormcloaks, or side with them anyway, but a Forsworn mod would definitely be something id support for a new experience to the game
