WatchMeGoing
Orcs are Elves people, get over it. So Bethesda don't know their own lore? Wuuthrad is flawed? And the fact that they are called 'mer' means nothing. 'Mer' is more like the elven word for people, usually refering to elves themselves, but not necessarily. The Aldmeri used to call the beast races "Betmer", eventhough they clearly aren't elves. And then there is the point that Orsimer aren't called "XXX Elf" by the humans, unlike the elves.Altmer - High ElfDunmer - Dark ElfBosmer - Wood ElfFalmer - Snow ElfDwemer - Deep ElfOrsimer - Orc, doesn't fit into the group

And yes, Beth messes up on their own lore plenty of times, doesnt change the fact that Orcs are elves. Nothing anybody says (other than Bethesda) will change this fact. Not to mention Betmer is an archaic term and the term itself translates to Beast Elf. Edited October 28, 2012 by Enatiomorph

Betmer translates to Beast Folk or Beast People, not Beast Elf. That wouldn't make ANY sense. Khajiit and Argonians are no elves. You come across like a five year old with his fingers in his ears, shouting "ORCS ARE ELVES" on repeat and ignoring anything anyone says to contradict you. It means the equivalent of man, but since Elves are not human, it means elven. No non Elf was ever correctly given the suffix Mer, only Elves. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Beastfolk Oh look, you are proven wrong again. Guess you never read the Anuad. You seem to be the one acting like a kid, not giving any lore evidence that they are not Elves, when it is every where in the lore that they in fact are elves. Guess you just dont know anything about the ES or the lore. And nobody has said anything to contradict me, just shown that they are newbs when it comes to ES lore. The Chimer changed to Dunmer and are still Elves, same with the Orsimer. Every lore source there is, including the games says they are Elves. You seem to be the one in denial. Orcs are Elves, get over it and learn more about the games, kid. Edited October 28, 2012 by Enatiomorph

So first I bring a piece of TES lore to your attention that states Orcs are no Elves (Wuuthrad)Then you say Bethesta doesn't know their own loreThen you tell me all lore says Orcs are Elves and I don't present any contradicting lore You're not making any sense, mate. The quest for the Daedric prince Herma-Mora's in Skyrim involves collecting elf blood in order to make a copy of Dwemer blood, and one of the elf races you collect from is the Orcs.http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Discerning_the_Transmundane Edited October 28, 2012 by sajuukkhar9000

Beth always changes weapons and the lore around them, so none of that is evidence. Sorry, but everybody knows Orcs are elves. Try playing the games. WatchMeGoing
Good god, you people are dense. About the collecting blood quest: Nowhere does it say that you're collecting elven blood. You're collecting blood that is related to the Dwemer. Yes, Orsimer are related to the dwemer because they used to be elves before the change, that does not mean they still are elves. You didn't present anything, you only presented a weapon that is said to affect elves but does not affect OrcsStill not making any sense.
