Grospolina
You're trying to run SKSE on Skyrim SE. SKSE only works on Oldrim. You need SKSE64. Go back to the SKSE site and get the one listed under "Current SE build". Note that it's an alpha version and doesn't work with everything yet. Not only that, but there's a risk of corrupting your save game. There was a critical bug that corrupted saves before, but that's been fixed. There still might be more though. thetechgenius
Just use Mod Organizer to launch SKSE, MO sets the path to SKSE for you (Most of the time anyway). Edited January 31, 2018 by thetechgenius
flamesong9
Hey Guys, As you can see, everyone has a different fix - this one worked for me. Open shortcut > Advanced > Run as administrator (make sure it is checked). Worked for me, logged into game, hit tild (~), and typed getskseversion and it confirmed it is running. Hope this helps! HeyYou
I tried to change my file path and just turned more into a mess, I do have them all together in on file but still doesn't seem to work. :confused:Use file explore to drill down to the folder where TESV.exe is located. Find SKSE_Loader.exe in there, right-click and hold, and drag it to the desktop, when you release the mouse button, a menu will pop up, select 'create shortcut here'. Double click on the shortcut to start the game.
