  1. Check out this video by Michael from GamerPoets -
  2. Thats true. Some mods require other mods to work, the most important and popular requirements are SKYUI and SKSE. But some mods that list "Mods Requiring this mod", doesn't mean that those are actual requirements for that mod. Those are just mods listed that require the mod your looking at. I seen new modders get confused by those lists. Im not saying your one of those people, im just saying a see many new modders get confused by that.
  3. I would also like to know how you did it. I have tried many times to decompile both the enbhost.exe and the DLL, with many different programs, and none of them are able to decompile it. Yeah, I get a VS Solution file and a CS file, but they have nothing to do with the actual source code. So I am not even able to recompile the exe or the DLL with those files, forget about editing any of the code, since the code doesn't get decompiled. Its very hard to decompile and edit VS C# or C++ without the original source code. And on top of that, I heard the ENB Dev actually implemented code that makes it even harder to decompile then recompile his code.
  4. Just use Mod Organizer to launch SKSE, MO sets the path to SKSE for you (Most of the time anyway).
  5. As for verifying the files though steam, thats why I install all mods through Mod Organizer or NMM. Because they both store installed mods Outside of the Skyrim game folder, so the mods will not be effected when you Verify the Files via steam. Thats why programs like Mod Organizer were created. To keep the Skyrim Data folder untouched/unmodded. The only things you would need to backup if you install all your mods like that, is your INI and other config files, as well as your ENB files in the Skyrim Root Folder. To be honest, I would start all over and let NMM or MO handle ALL of your mods. So if this happens again or something else, you can re-install Skyrim without a problem, without loosing your mods.
  6. Turn on God Mode with "TGM" in console, to make sure its not related to the actual gameplay.
  7. I know with Mod Organizer you can save your Steam Login info and MO will attempt to login to steam when it launches Skyrim/SKSE. I never had a problem launching Skyrim with or without Mod Organizer. Also make sure you have "update.esm" in your data folder.
  8. Oh I know, the Creation Kit has so many damn bugs and glitches its not even funny. I wish Bethesda would release the source code for the creation kit so someone could fix all the damn bugs. Or a team of modders could get together and rewrite the entire CK, or at least "maybe" create a modded EXE launcher for the creation kit to fix some of the bugs. IDK, but the CK is horrible as it is, it has always been like this too. Even though I remember it being at least a little more stable.
  9. Then use the old version of Nexus. https://old.nexusmods.com
  10. It really depends on what mods you want. SKSE does have a Skyrim SE version, so that's good. Not sure how stable it is for SE though. Just go on the SE section and check out all the mods for SE. If your happy with the selection, then choose SSE. If you want to choose from the entire library of Skyrim mods, then choose the Classic version. I just reinstalled Skyrim myself after years, and I choose the Classic version. I got the SE version on steam too, since I bought all of the DLC when they first released, so I got the SE version for free. But I wanted to have access to the huge library of Skyrim mods on Nexus, I didn't want to be limited on what I can or cannot install. That's why I choose the Classic version. It's up to you.
  11. This post has only 246 replies? I thought it would have a lot more then that, a hell of a lot more. I have always gave mod authors the upmost respect, they are the reason why a game as old as Skyrim is still going VERY strong, its the reason why I still play Skyrim, trying out new mods when ever I get the chance. I might not have many posts on the forum, but I do donate to all the Mod Authors I can. I have a 9 year old son, so money is always tight. But I do what I can. And even though I dont have many posts on the forum, I have been modding Skyrim since its release (or sometime right after), so im not new to game modding on PC. Modding has gotten so big because of all of the Mod Authors, that game publishers (including bethesda) keep trying to cash in and charge money for mods in games. But they know damn well we wont have that. I don't mind Donations, but that is optional. And Im sure at least most Mod Authors agree? I just dont agree with locking mods behind a paywall. And im sure most modders and Mod Authors agree with me. So i want to say thank you to ALL of the Mod Authors! You made a great game into one of the best games on PC, because of your mods. I am truly thankful of all of you, including the devs, Admins, and creators of the NexusMods site too. So thank you, all of you!
  12. Thank you for this!!! I know a lot of people like video tutorials, but not me. I rather read a written tutorial step by step, along with all the information about the subject. Thanks again!
  13. I seen many many many women in real life that have the same shaped bodies as CBBE. Yeah, there are no variation of body structures, so its not realistic in that sense, but im sure there is a mod for that too. There are mods for just about everything now. My babymom for instance has the same boobs as CBBE, not the really really HUGE ones, but the big round boobs (Double D's), they look so perfect they might look fake to most people. But they are not fake. Some women are just really blessed with a beautiful and amazing body with perfect curves. You know if you go to Columbia, Puerto Rico, or Brazil, you will see women like that ALL the time, that has perfect big round boobs and a perfect round butt. I call those places "Men Heaven" LOL. And im not exaggerating, not even a little bit.
  14. I only ask for a BTC Payment option because some people like myself only like to buy things online with Bitcoin. I have a little bit invested in BTC too, so its always going up and down. Besides, I dont think Bitcoin is going anywhere any time soon. You might not be able to mine BTC now, but its still worth a lot, and people are still using it for online transactions everywhere. I pay for my domain and domain services with Bitcoin. lol. But its just a suggestion. I was going to buy premium, but Bitcoin is all I have at the moment. Thank You, TheTechGenius
  15. I'm thinking you liked windows 8 as well. What is wrong with gaming in Windows 8? I am running Windows 8 (Not 8.1), with a modification called Start8. Start8 is a Start Menu Mod for Windows 8, it makes it look and feel exactly like Windows 7. And I never even have to see the Windows 8 Metro Menu, because Start8 makes it possible to start up the PC and go right to the desktop, bypassing the Metro Menu altogether. And yes, Windows 8 is a lot faster, more stable, more optimized, and all around performs a lot better then any Windows before it. Combine that with the Start8 Program to mod Win8, and you have one of the best Windows OS's for gaming. Most people don't give Windows 8 a chance because of the lack of a Start Menu. But like I said, Start8 solves all your problems, it makes your Windows 8 look and feel like Windows 7, just with all the features and performance gains of Windows 8. Did you even try to use Windows 8 with a start menu mod? If not, you should try it out, I think you would like it even better then windows 7.
