R.I.P Kris - A Standalone Follower SSE - SOS or Better Males Mod

A couple days ago I downloaded a Nexus mod, a standalone follower who had over a thousand HP/Magicka/Stam. I found out, literally a day after downloading him, that he was deleted off of Nexus Mods (T^T) and just yesterday, I encountered a problem where I told him to go home to the manor..but my mistake..was telling him to go home while in a dungeon.

 

I went on a couple more quests and then remembered my husbando (I did marry him in-game lol). I went home to get him to help me on another quest because he is a beast out in the field but I could't find him at the manor. Now I remembered that he had an issue where when I asked him to move to another place, he responded with "Where to?" but then that was the end of the conversation. I think he liked living in the Blue Palace a little too much lol. Anyways, I search for him for a couple in game days at the manor, no luck. I search for him at the Blue Palace for a few in game days, no luck. At this point I'm getting worried, like is he still in the dungeon?? I search the dungeon for another few days and he is just GONE!

 

Now I am a pleb when it comes to mods and I don't know jack shieeett when it comes to editing files and such. I thought I would be able to save his file in an email, and then redownload his files. I tried it and then when I logged back on to find him and marry him, I was greeted with a blackened, floating head. He couldn't equip armor on his body, arms or feet because the game wasn't registering his body. I still have his file saved in my emails as if it is his tombstone to remind me of his beast mage skills that I hadn't reached yet. He had saved my life more than a few times and while he lacked a quest line or any real diversity, he was handsome to look at and a useful follower...he also looked a bit like my irl fiance and had the same name too.

 

If anyone with necromancy skills (file editing) can help me bring back my husbando, please let me know! There are't a lot of good looking and useful male follower mods available that fit my tastes. I have searched and seen recommendations but none fit what I am looking for.

Unless you deleted the Mod ARCHIVE you downloaded from the Nexus, you still have the mod so you can reinstall it.

I'm not sure what you are talking about, about "Saving his file in an email" though

HadToRegister is correct. UNLESS you did delete, it's still on your harddrive.

 

BUT ---> There might be a very good reason it was removed. It could be that the bug ( and maybe more ) were being reported and it was just best to pull the mod. So you could re-install it from your harddrive, but likely you very well could still have the bugs.

 

Also, be aware that you will likely have to restart your game. There is a chance that the current saved games have the bug in it. Would not be impossible.
