Do I need to install the FULL QTP3 before using the Redimized version?

Do I need to install the FULL QTP3 before using the Redimized version? Or is the QTP3 Redimized a full version in itself?

They are completely separate.

 

However, I recommend using Oblivion Upscaled Textures, by Kartoffels. My opinion is it makes QTP obsolete.

Huh, I'm checking it out now, for the most part it looks great but some of the architecture textures in the video look bad. I will check it out though.

If you mean a video of OUT, I would say it is the video that looks subpar. I have some screenshots of architecture and I think most of it looks great.

It's completely up to your taste. If you want vanilla-flavor, but better, OUT is your choice. If you want something different, there are some high resolution texture packs(complete or incomplete) like QTP3, AmpolX's Textures, Darooz's textures. If you're going to get texture replacers for specific ones(Oblivion plane, Ayleid architecture, ...), there are other choices around.

 

I use QTP3-R, but since it does not cover everything, I also use Bomret's SI texture pack, Mikal33's 'Improved~' textures, and part of OUT.

 

**Current QTP3-Redimized package contains all QTP3-R textures and modified meshes(to use parallax shader), so you don't need original QTP3 to install it.

You can miz and match - although that requires unpacking and comparing everything.
