M48A5
Where can I install Skyrim/SKSE if I don't want to install it in MS Programs? Some people install it in "My Games". Others will make a new folder on the hard drive. It doesn't really matter as long as it isn't in "Program Files" and your mod manager detects the installation for launching the game. tekmage
If you are trying to keep organized and stay away from issues resulting from installing into the program files folder, just create a folder called Games on your main drive and put your steam and GOG/Origin in there as well.So your steam games folder would be under C:/Games/Steam/Steamapps/Common/ for example. Or in your case SKSE would go under C:/Games/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim/. Edited August 27, 2019 by tekmage
Adipose
Thanks to both of you for the info. Btw, I've got another aphorism for you: "You can't go home again." Basically a variation on the "...river..." saying.
