InfiniteSource Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 My apologies for necroposting, but for knowledge's sake: BEX means BufferOverflowException, so either Windows hates Skyrim or Skyrim does a terribad job at managing RAMSince the second one is most likely, you can keep your saves and stuff (though I doubt you still have it) because no matter how many reinstalls you do, tesv.exe will be the same executable, and here you go with BEXs over and over Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
velve666 Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Yes the Bex error on certain systems can be unavoidable. Sometimes it can occur consistently at certain spots in Skyrim. Best bet is to re-load an older save and hope for the best. Disabling UAC is an option that supposedly works, but unfortunately windows doesn't allow you to disable UAC for SKSE.exe.
