AdequateSub03
I need a static replica of the player's Bruma statue. I'm making a relatively large Oblivion mod but I'm not very experienced in blender so I need some help. Thanks for reading this! :) (Also... by static replica I mean like a basic humanoid shape in the same pose as the Champion Statue.)
Oblivionaddicted
Why don't you want to use a scripted replica of the player like his/her Bruma statue? I hope you're skilled with meshes creation otherwise.
DrakeTheDragon
There's a simple one-click function in Blender, which creates a static model from a posed actor. I often did it in the past. Load a skeleton + body + pose animation => put it into pose => copy it into a static mesh. I just can't recall what the name was. The Tomb Guardians in the picture sets here, the Cynder actor in the story here, and the Kaira in the render herewere all made static statues for the scenes that way. I'm not very savvy with blender. If you could give me small tutorial of how to do this, or link me to one, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks again man. But then it ended up that I didn't like how it looked. With the static I won't have to do too much scripting, and I'll be able to change the color of the statue. There's a mod to update the statue's look depending on the player's look. You can probably create something alike.
SigurdStormhand
There is definitely a tutorial for this but I can't find it, Essentially, you import all the body parts you want, parent them to the skeleton and then animate them using the animation function in Blender - or you could pose it manually.
