lazloarcadia
So I'm gearing up for a new FO4 play through and I'm looking at some spawn increasing mods, with the two big ones being SKK Combat Stalkers and War of the Commonwealth. I know (more or less) how to configure both mods but I really can't decide which would give a better overall experience while still remaining stable. So far I'm considering using WOTC at a pre-set of level 1 or 2 + the mod You and What Army to add additional Minutemen patrols between settlements. This should allow for solid extra actors and combat without overwhelming my system or game engine (or creating save bloat that is really outta hand). On the other hand, I hear that SKK Combat Stalkers would give a more or less similar effect but is much more stable. Honestly my reluctance with SKK-CS is it seems like the encounters are more skirmishes that are focused on you as the player, vs WOTC which allow the npcs to interact with each other dynamically. NOTE: I'm not considering running by SKK-CS and WOTC together as that many actors is sure to be a bad idea. Any suggestions from those who have used both mods would be really appreciated. HeyYou
Might also consider Pack Attack. It tweaks AI, making enemies a bit more dangerous (intelligent....) and also allows you to custom configure additional spawns. I have been using it for several months now, and it lends a whole new aspect to combat, and wandering the commonwealth. Check it out, watch some of the videos. I REALLY like it. :D
terrymatrix
I preferred : Endless Warfare (There is a automatron patch for behind Fort Hagen)
lazloarcadia
Any reason you went for Endless Warfare vs WOTC?
terrymatrix
No crashes if you turn it down, i prefer mods that boost npc's on survival rather than multiply them, a single strong opponent is much kinder to your system than groups.
