opperheim
Hi all, I'm fairly new to the whole Vortex thing, and apparently a lot of mods need 'archive invalidation' to overwrite vanilla assets. I've noticed a few FO4 mods (ghoul texture replacer, building textures, etc) aren't properly working, and still look vanilla. I didn't really know what was causing it until I noticed the creation club option on the main menu, and a couple of things in game had a $ sign next to them. I've added the recommended ini settings to my folder, reinstalled, installed manually, tried them on their own, but they're still not working properly. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Pickysaurus
Seeing the dollar sign ($) usually means that you're missing some language strings. It could be a problem with your install of Fallout 4.
opperheim
Yeah, it seems like it was a language issue in Def_UI that caused that, but the problem still persists with any texture replacers not working properly.
RambeanOfficial
I use DEF_UI and only see the dollar sign on the Creation Club in the main menu, which I've always taken to be an intentional thing. LOL.
opperheim
Haha yeah, I thought it was a sly dig at Bethesda, but apparently it's just a coincidence with the translation strings (or something)!
