ginnyfizz
This is very peculiar. For my recent rebuild we managed to save my profiles, but on reinstall of Firefox although my bookmarks are remembered, my passwords are not. The option to remember passwords is definitely checked. I have trawled the Mozilla knowledge base and it has not been helpful. Anyone any ideas how to overcome this? I do get the pop up "Do you want Firefox to remember the password?" but when I click it, nothing happens.Hardware is brand new and working stormingly so is not that. hoofhearted4
go to Tools > Options > Security and make sure Save Passwords is checked (wasnt sure if you meant that that option was definitely checked or the option when logging in to save the password was checked) also, make sure that cookies arent deleted when you log out go to Tools > Options > Privacy and either select Remember all History or set it up Custom to your preferences. Georgiegril
Hey GinnyFizz! I was bored so I found this article in MozillaZine. Maybe it will have some info to help you? (if you haven't already fixed it...)
ginnyfizz
Thanks, I have an idea of what to try now, maybe write passwords to a txt file and import them. Then password protect the txt file
