You download a mod which adds a item into the game, however you need certain ingredients to create the recipe and the item, this is all great and immersive however sometimes most of the items needed cannot be brought from a store and need to be hunted down personally usually meaning having to trek through the whole of Skyrim.

Is there a console command or mod which automatically adds the ingredients needed to the inventory or just ignores the requirements entirely so you can make the item without them?

Or alternatively my favorite source for Elder Scrolls info;

UESPWiki

and a link to the console commands page - look to the bottom of the page for useful information about creating batch files - makes adding stuff easier if you need to add many different items at once.

Your best bet would be to use the player.additem command to add the materials to your inventory. Just look up the item codes on your wiki of choice, and you should be good to go.

It's such a pain in the ass though, especially when trying to deck out your manor.

An eight year necro... I know necromancers are lore friendly but still...

In case any one runs across this thread and wonders if there is anything to help in this situation, take a look at AddItemMenu.

AddItemMenu (Legendary Edition)

AddItemMenu (Special Edition)

Bypass the crafting and add the items directly.
